First off, our S&R teams are still recovering the pilots from the wreck of your vessel. Liberty affords only the finest in exo-atmospheric flight suits to her pilots, and you can be assured that barring great damage we'll recover most if not all of our men intact. Seeing as your vessel wasn't atomized, I think we're good on that count.

Secondly, by your own admission you ignored a lawful order. On several occassions you were given a chance to comply with lawful orders that would have returned the previously mentioned pilots safely to Liberty without hassle. That you attemped to continue on despire being ordered not to, in an illegal transport with an illegal device installed, means you were presenting a security risk that could not be ignored. Additionally you claimed that the pilots in your hold gave you the leeway to proceed as if you were in charge. This brings you up to the point of extortion, kidnapping, and terrorism. As captain of the LNS Mount Shasta I was well within my rights to halt your vessel when you disobeyed my orders, with force as needed.

You'll find that the Republic of Liberty will not compensate you for your attempted extortion for your own publicity. In fact, I'm sure you'll find yourself on our watched list for quite a long time because of this.

This is an outrage! First they where hostages. Now they are dead!! Alan sir, wait im not even going to call you sir. Destroying a bloody ship with navy officers on board? Are you bloody insane. Because of you, we are now going to send telegrams to their mums saying that they died!

I'm honestly not sure where you got the notion that 67 of our finest were killed on board that vessel. While we did lose a few overall, we took great care to avoid hitting the sections of hull that we detected them in. Many of these men and women are being debriefed even now on their experiences. As I said, the vessel was not atomized and it was enhanced with a great deal of armor that prevented any explosive decompression from being far reaching.

If you read the circumstances I presented, I'm certain you'll see that there was little choice in the matter. The vessel in question was attempting to flee with Liberty personnel, and given its abilities presented an imminent threat to Liberty security. To be quite frank there wasn't time to call an extraction team before the vessel made off, so we took it out. The men and women of the Liberty armed forces swore an oath to the Republic when they signed up, and they took it understanding the risks involved.

And finally Mister Weaver, I find your behavior unbecoming of an officer of the Navy. You take grossly exaggerated fatality claims, disregard the blatant admittance of extortion and threats of further illegal activity by this Gallic Junker, and then have the gall to call me a war criminal for acting in the best interests of the Republic? Your priorities are skewed mightly, sir. I suggest that you calm down and rethink this situation before this gets out of hand.

67 was the number that was passed to me this morning. Have you heard of taking engines out? Take the engines out, save the ship and the crew. On other thing, Of course im angry because Navy pilots that didnt have to die, died. You could of easily saved them ALL. Captain, you are careless. Think before you give the order to fire on its hull.
