Best spots for Battle Razors on LABC - Flash™ - 01-29-2013
Well, I was thinking, and Bombers have a easy time killing LABCs. I haven't seen LABCs use Battle Razors. SO I want to see what you think if its good to use Battle Razors on LABC. My loadout is:
6x Cruiser Turrets
2x Battle razors, the ones on the side. First 2 slots
2x Missiles, The one nder and on front, second 2 slots.
2x Prims
1x Basic Flak
This any good?
Now the real question is, where to place the Battle Razors.

Don't use them at all, change cruiser turrets to solaris.

You does not need Razors,they are vasrtly underpowered, something that I mentioned before the turretsplit ,however it was not taken in concern.
Nowadays bs and cruiser razors are useless. Use 2 cerbs on 360 slots instead and 2 missiles on the other 2 heavy slots, 6 cruiser or solaris depending what you fight more.

Those 2 middle Heavy slots, that are paired together. Allows for the instakills, also provides a better aim for the guns themselves - it's being calculated not from the gun location, but from the middle of ur ship.
Also, placing cruiser missiles on bottom/front slots still allow them to instakill stuff, if I'm not mistaken (since cruise missiles blow up each other, and they're still in range . if it's not, first launch the bottom missile, and then the front one.

Ya I instaded couple bombers like that.
@ Omicron: So Solaris is good? How are you fighting other cruisers?
@ Govedo: Yes they are underpowered. I have used 2 Battle Razors on 360 slots and had pretty good result.

Any cruiser can potentialy toast battlecruiser on distance (thruster speed, missiles, superior agility?) allthrough so far I have no problems using 2 primaries and 2 cruiser cerberuses - consumes a lot of energy but delivers neat firepower, capable of supressing Scyllas very well. Solaris are simply anti-snub including bombers, turret steer is of course must.
And above all, it is better to stay in groups - escort or be escorted. People like torps will wreck lone caps. It is both realistic and keeps with Disco reality too.

I have used 2 Battle Razors on 360 slots and had pretty good result.The point is that if you are able to hit snubs with BRs then you would be able to do the same with Cerbs( read the said Snub pilot sux) and as result you could use cerbs as anti cap as well. The 100 speed difference just does not cut it if we add the refirerate and the DPE and the range.
