Let me introduce myself, my name is Chris Ritter, patrolman of the reserve RFP, and write this message in relation to the incident of the RFP-Oberslum and the ship the.patience freelance. Everything started when a patrol spotted a pirate ship called (p) bloody after chase by the New Berlin system, managed to jump in the direction of stugart the ship accompanied by the.patience, we could not scan this last, so i dont know that he is a legal freelance, seeing the imposivility to capture them in the Omegas, I call a mercenary known mine named Adam Jensen, this, along with a Bounty Hunter, followed the suspects to Leeds, where he met the ship the.patient and the incident take place. I was who indicated the mercenary that pursue the two ships, therefore I take full responsavility of what happened. i already ingresate the sum of 2200000 credits to the account of Mr. Raphael in reparation for my overreaching. Therefore ask you to leave RFP-Oberslum, since it has nothing to do, and I present my resignation from the body immediately. I do not deserve to carry the badge and the uniform of this great nation. Herr Ritter, I am surprised by such in this matter and I am glad that someone came forth with these details. But as much as would entail to close this case, I cannot and will not do so until I have full details from the Obersulm's Commander. It takes a type of courage to stand up and state you made a mistake, and I am proud to see such steel in our officers. Your request to resign has been DENIED and its paperwork shredded from existance. We all learn from our mistakes Ritter. None of us are perfect. With that continue your work and keep working hard. I hope to hear good things about you in the future. Guten Tag mein Inspekteur: I'm the commander of the Polizei Reserve cruiser RFP-Obersulm, that was involved in an incident yesterday in New Berlin system. Firstly, I want to apologize for not replying to your statement yesterday. I've been busy with personal issues that are irrelevant in this matter. Also I want to express how sorry I am to have created this misunderstanding that puts you in the difficult position of having to ask for explanations. Now I will report you what happened, professionally and clearly: Yesterday morning I started a brief patrol in New Berlin system intended to make sure everything was in order. Everything was normal until my communications chief handed me a radio call from my colleague Polizei Reserve Officer Chris Ritter. He said he had a ship identified as pirate (vessel named [P]Bloody), who refused to obey his instructions and he was chasing it. Of course I immediately gave orders to my crew to head to his position with the intention of support him. When I arrived at the scene, Officer Ritter was fighting against pirate ship, and although he pilots only a Phantom light fighter with very limited firepower, he had managed to keep the criminal vessel under relative control. After inviting the suspect to surrender peacefully, which got no answer, I opened fire on the target, with the hope that his attitude will change, but instead of that he activated a cloacking device and disappeared from our view and our radars. Officer Ritter and I began the search procedure to try to not let him get away, but despite our work, the pirate managed to jump the Stuttgart system, and then to Omega-7, where we have no jurisdiction. We noticed that the suspect was standing in Omega-7, and we had grounds for believing that it could have begun to pirating traders passing through the system. Since Omega-7 is a system that is bordering the Rheinland territory we must defend as Polizei officers, and knowing that the action of the pirate vessel was seriously damaging order and Rheinland law as well as economy and trade, we decided that we could not allow that threat to national security. Officer Ritter suggested that perhaps we could instead hire a freelancer that he knew (named Adam Jensen) to eliminate, or at least get away from the vicinity of our homeland, the pirate in question. I told my colleague to do what he believed right, and I know he did that. He contracted the freelancer telling him the target position, and after that I continued my patrol, because I could not do anything else with the pirate problem. I have not had more news about what happened to the freelancer hired by Officer Ritter and the pirate, and neither anything of that other transport ship, Firefly class, called The.Patience. I remember seeing him crossing New Berlin space, and I scanned it, like any other ship, but everything was in order. After that small and irrelevant meeting, I have not heard anything more from him. I do not understand why their captain, Herr Raphael Sun, requires me about compensation for damages that never I have caused. Freelancer that Officer Ritter hired, had no missión of hunting him, nor to his ship. I think Herr Sun is making a mistake with this situation, or maybe the freelancer was the one who made a mistake. In any case, I advocate for my innocence in this matter. My performance was as professional as I could. I would also add that in my personal opinion Officer Ritter also acted correctly, and if he hired that freelancer, exclusively intended to protect the trade routes of Rheinland and the lives of merchants and their crews. Anyway, I am at your disposal, sir. If you think that I made a mistake on my actions, I beg you please inform me so that does not happen again. As my colleague Officer Ritter has done, I submit my dismissal in case you want to take it into consideration. I await your response. Always at your orders, mein Inspekteur. Alle für Rheinland. Herr Ritter and Herr Gurkhan, *Lets out an angered sigh* The actions that you both did were unfit as Polizei officers, contacting an unknown freelancer to do what we can do far better. And in the process have caused us to use up valuable time and reasources to find the end of this grapevine of stories. You have both given the badges you wear a grey smear of misconduct for your actions as we have been pressed again into having our department pay for damages that our secondary officers conduct. For your actions I am both placing your crafts under a 1 week suspension from patrol duty starting immediately! AND! For your work in going above and beyond the call of Rheinland Officers simply keeping the peace. I am hereby allowing you both permission to patrol the Omega 7 system to continue your work in allowing us to further keep the peace in these areas. And I am hereby exstending an invitation to allow you both to join up from the secondary force to full time Federal Polizei Officers of Rheinland. Next time gentlemen. Don't hire a freelancer to follow a ship that caused no problems at all in our space. It doesn't look good for all of us. Mein Inspekteur: I have received your orders and I accept them of course. I just hope this is the last time that I make mistakes in the acomplishment of my duty. Me, my crew, and my ship will return to the duty the next week. Respect to your invitation to join up to the Principal Force, is very generous and I will think in it, but actually I still prefer to stay in the Reserve Force. Thank you for your time.
