Buenos dias buen señor.
My name is Juan Felipe de Alba and Espronceda, and writing this message to inform you of an incident in Leeds a few hours ago.
When traveling in the direction of freeport to rest and replenish my ship, I found two pirates raiding a freighter and decided to intervene in support of the assaulted, he managed to reach safety in leeds and the two assailants were focused on my ship, we are not fighters, we are explorers and scientists, so we were at a disadvantage when it appeared the HMS-Manchester, my men shouted for joy, but when he started shooting at us, we could only pray.
I've lost good men and women, my ship is in pieces and will require a long repairs and time to return to space.
That is why I demand an explanation of the Bretonian military authority and a compensation to the widows of those who were unable to use the escape pods.
I am enclosing pictures poorly taken just before severe structural damage.

First thank you for your quick response, I'm glad to see how well works Bretonian bureaucracy.
I'm a zoner of noble family and dedicate myself to explore, discover and photograph everything about sirius.
I photographed battles, systems, planets and natural phenomena across the sector.
In answer to your first question, I was passing in Bretonian space, from Freeport 6 to Freeport 1 and although I do not consider the "Corvo" a battle ship and my crew and I are not a threat to anyone, i accept your criticism of my presence in leeds system, the law is the law.
About the attack on the HMS-Manchester, please, do not insult my intelligence, as I did not insult yours, who can believe that i shoot on my only option for survival?, is ridiculous. But having said that, I have no evidence other than that presented above, the memory storage systems of the ship are too damaged to get more information about it, I deeply regret this.
It amazes me wonder why I decided to defend the Bowex freighter, I did it because, for me and my crew, life is the most important, and defend a defenseless merchants deserve my life and that of my subordinates, as they know it I could not see how they were killed and wash my hands, as Pilate did our lord Jesus Christ.
To conclude, I wish to seek compensation not exact, because i do not know which is the sum collected by law for such cases.
