  • Guten Tag,

The other day, we've received an odd report from one of our secondary fleet units. You might want to take a look at it. I hope I don't want to tell you this is not the first time we're informed about such incidents...

Thank you for the report. I am familiar with these Gallic Junkers. Whatever connection existed between my people and this crew is long past. However, we do maintain some relationship with them provided that those who live among us are willing to respect our ways. If you have some evidence that this Junker has not been respecting our ways I will review it and deal with it in an appropriate manner. Right now, docking on Kreuzberg is not a crime. As for the other ship, I do not see a heavy cruiser as your man is reporting. I thought your people were a little more thorough than that. All I see is a ship that seems to be in support of the Hessian cause. I'll look into that a little further. If this individual is a known criminal that will be taken into account as well. Still I see no connection whatsoever between that and the Junker vessel.

  • Herr Crow,

One way or another, we don't want to see any criminal or terrorist group members or supporters lurking around Kreuzberg. We might suspect they're going there for a reason. I'm expecting you, Herr Crow, to make sure they're NOT using Kreuzberg to resupply or control their operations within New Berlin. If you're unable to do this, we will.

SUBMITTER: Admiral Gunter Weissman
RECIPIENT: Arbiter Jack Crow
SUBJECT: Gallic junker named Manticore

  • Guten Tag Herr Crow,

I believe you do not understand the major's message.
The gallic junker named Manticore is a known criminal in Rheinland for already some weeks. He violated the Rheinland law and seeked refuge on Kreuzberg, sadly with success.

§2.3.1. Piracy is described as performing or attempting to perform actions such as the disruption of trade lane rings, and/or an extortion for sums of money, equipment, cargo or personnel in exchange for the immediate or future safety of the target of the said actions.

§2.4.6. Assault on civilians or representatives of law enforcement authorities.

I believe we do not have to go into details with the evidence, but if you really want to have it, we would have to break the classification of some reports in order to deliver it to third party. For that we have to use higher encryption

****Message begins****

Admiral Weissman and Major Hermann,

If this fellow is a wanted criminal, we will surely assist in turning him over to the forces of this great nation. As you know, civilians can oft times be a slippery group to identify, as I have heard even the Planet New Berlin people have given him landing clearance at times. Rest assured, though, Mr Crow has already begun to take the necessary steps to neutralize this criminal.

With that said, it seems many of the wanted information on our station is outdated and/or covered with unnecessary mustaches. Would it be possible to send along a list of such criminal ships so that we can ensure they find no haven here?

Admiral Weissman,
I did not misunderstand anyone. The message did not identify Manticore as a criminal, only as a Gallic Junker. If you have evidence that he has been misbehaving we would like to see this as it would be quite disrespectful of our ways. That being said, Director Thompson seems to have this under control so I'll refer all other inquiries to him.
