Siege Cruiser Loadout - SMGSterlin - 02-09-2013
Looking for advice on what to put on my LSC.
I was thinking something like 6 Solaris and a missile turret, or 5 Solaris and 2 razors...
My main fear is bombers (Torpedoes Q_Q), and was thinking the forward gun would pack a sufficient punch for other caps...

I would go 6 solaris and missile.
Razors are kinda.. useless.
If you go heavy better use cerbs, however I must admit I never used this cruiser in 4.86 so I am not aware of the turret split heavy gun positions and gun arcs.

Full solaris will make you an easy prey to enemy cruisers. Razors also don't work well with solaris, since you will need to quickly deshield enemy snubs (razors are used mainly for instakill, btw), and they also require well positioned slots.
Didn't fly this thing that much in 86 but, if my memory serves me well, it's heavy slots should be 360. 2 cerbs and rest solaris could be a versatile setup, or you can go with the proposed 2 cerb and prims.
Might install a missile if you feel so.

I have that too. Just don't expect to take on snubs with it.

TS/TZ and you can hit bombers and SHF pretty easily. And if you're really good, you can FG them

2 cerbs and 7 primaries is good, but I dont prefer solaris.
