Too dumb for hudshift. - Madvillain - 02-10-2013

So , I have this new monitor.
It's big and very nice.
Though whenever I play Freelancer on it the graphics look horribly stretched , a bit like Cher:

Anyway , I've heard that hudshift can help against that.
Is that true , and how can I use it.
I've tried to edit :
Code:
[;HUDShift]
;Horizontal = 0.17

; The calculated values, if you'd like to do some fine tuning.
; Be sure to comment the above, otherwise you'll shift twice.

; 16:9 (1280x720, 1440x810, 1600x900, 1920x1080).
[HUDShift]
Horizontal = 0.17

; 15:9 (1280x768).
[;HUDShift]
Horizontal = 0.1275

; 16:10 (1280x800, 1440x900, 1600x1000, 1680x1050, 1920x1200).
[;HUDShift]
Horizontal = 0.102

; 5:4 (1280x1024; using the 5:4 WinCamera).
[;HUDShift]
Horizontal = -0.031875

; 5:4 (using the 4:3 WinCamera).
[;HUDShift]
Vertical  = 0.026
GaugeBars = 0, 0.026

but nothing changed.
What am I doing wrong?

I know what's wrong. I'll Skype you.

Edit: All you need to do is make sure the HudShift.ini file is copied into the DATA\INTERFACE\ folder. This goes for anyone trying to install HudShift.
