Atlantia escort report (//dated 21/4/08)
well after i woken up in my quaters my scanners picked up a few IMG vessels in space but one shortly docked so i formed up with Isis.Mistrae who was mining and trading in Colorado so shortly after formed up we got hit by several other Ion storms we regouped after they had cleared and proceeded to Freeport 4 to do some business (getting ID for Isis and also finding out what department she wants to be in) so soon as we sort out the business we discussed what we should do and eventually came to the conclusion of doing a trade run with me as Escort. so we proceeded to Cardiff station in the Cambridhe system for some beryillium and while orbiting Cardiff we hailed all ships in the system and to me surprise we had a reply from an IMG vessel (unfortunatly a battle later on had damaged the data which had the name) he asked if we wanted an escort as to which i replied i was the escort but he was more than happy to join us but he didnt reply because a pirate named Muerte had hacked the comms but before the pirate had a chance to do anything we was already docking with the jumpgate to Omega 3.
from Omega 3 to The Ring was pretty quiet and free of pirates so after we docked with the Ring and picked up a shipment of Diamonds we headed to planet Manhatten to sell them but on route we was ambushed by rookie pilots of various pirate groups but they didnt last long at all and again back travelling a SA Dreadnaught kept getting stuck in several tradelanes so soon as it got free and we could get past we eventually ended up in the New York system but approaching the planet and while Isis was docking i had noticed a new pilot who had an IMG tag while having "OPG" in their name so i tried asking them a few times but they didnt reply so i left them as i couldent do much

so i reformed up with Isis and agree'd to check out the Badlands for weaponry, so we get into the badlands and found some wrecks and got the weaponry from them but then while we was busy having a rest we was ambushed by a Liberty Rouge Gunboat whom targeted my shields straight away and prompted me to jump out of my seat and start shooting away.
Isis started to draw the fire of the Gunboat from me since the shields of her Behemoth-class transport could take all of the Gunboats firepower while i started to work on the fighters (whom didnt last long) so soon as i had finished with the fighters i start making missile and nuke-mine pass's of the Gunboat, shortly later though while making a pass the gunboat opened fire when i was within 70m of it and it taken out my shields and 50% of my hull (including a computer which had the details of the encounter with the IMG vessel mentioned above). so while i was still dodging its fire Isis started firing her missiles at it and a mix of nuke-mines and missiles it soon fell at our hands.
after the ambush we started making our way to planet Manhatten for R+R and repairs and re-supply and i also tired into my quarters for the night to write up this report
//i dont know about Isis but i had a brilliant time tonight lol and also kudos to Isis as if it wasnt for her that gunboat would of eaten me for breakfast within seconds. surprised it could take the damage of nuke mines and firestalker missiles

Atlantia weapons test report and the Endeavour's patrol report (//dated 27/4/08)
well soon as i woken up and undocked at Freeport 4 i was pleasently greeted by Pepe who was keeping the peace and had informed a few pirates of the piracy rule of Freeport 4 and so me and Pepe was talking about weaponry when i was reading the instruction manual that came with a newly bought level 10 missile launcher and found out that after it takes out the shields it also works on the power systems of the targets ship and so we tested it and the first missile taken his shields down to 80% the second taken the rest out and the 3rd missile taken out all of his power and he had to wait for it to recharge before able to fire his weapons again but apart from that it was pretty quiet with hardly any pirates or important activity happening untill my long range sensors (aswell as those of a Lane Hacker) picked up the Necrosis
me and Pepe knew of the dangers of it and proceeded to dock at the freeport when i sent a signal to the Endeavour which immediatly plotted an intercept course for Freeport 4. on the route the Lane Hacker and several others in the Magellan system informed me that the Necrosis was in orbit of Freeport 4 and shooting all of the IMG and other ships.
the Endeavour managed to get the Magellen fast and proceeded to Freeport 4 when i was joined by the same Lane Hacker who was speaking to me and decided to join me in the fight against Necrosis. i warned Necrosis 3 times to leave orbit of Freeport 4 or i would have to use force and the replies i got was laughter from the psychopath so i went in all-guns blazing

in the begining of the fight the Necrosis managed to get my shields taken out within seconds but the Lane Hacker managed to draw its fire while my shields came back and we managed to take its shields out and on the verge of victory it used its supply of batteries and nanobots so we had to keep fighting hard again but this time we managed to force it to flee the area of Freeport 4 and thankfully it left the Magellan system aswell, hopefully it wont be back again soon
after it left i started recovery ops and managed to recover 35 IMG pilots flying around in escape pods but while i was performing recovery of our pilots a mercenary named ZetStone flew in and taken 20 IMG pilots and did not reply to request of releasing them but just as i was about to open fire he got the trade lane and fled.
after that i docked at Freeport 4 for a few drinks at the bar and maybe a quick game of the machines there

Hand of Sceiron and Xanthian patrol Tau 37

Last night the 'Hand' escorted by Xanthian mine/patrolled in the cloud near Falkland for around two hours. No major pirate activity. There was one Outcast transport that passed thru the Tau 23 jump hole - but there were no Outcast fighters making threats. IMG cargo hauler Artur.von.Seelenburg did make one cargo run in and out of Falkland during the patrols.
The 'Hand' docked and Xanthian escorted the IMG trader Auximines which took a load of Niobium to Holman. Xanthian escorted the Auximines on its return to Falkland.
The 'Hand' will continue patrols of Tau 37 for the immediate future.

The mining ship [img]Collector was conducting a shake-down mining run in Tau 37. Adam Cawdor provided valuable escort services during this time. When the mining ship was full of Niobium, Cawdor escorted the ship to New Berlin. The two ships then proceeded on to Cardiff Station in Cambridge.

Pepe Garcia, Auximines and Callisto assisted Matthew Fabian to get his Mining Ship rigged up/tagged and repped. We went to Tau37 and mined massive quantities of Niobium. Then hauled it in a monster convoy to New Berlin. From New Berlin we hauled much needed engine components to Freeport 4 in Magellan.

While exploring in the last few weeks I have come across several wrecked ships and salvaged a few items the guild needs, namely some codenamed guns and some Level 4 Transport Turrets. I needed to take them to the warehouse ship at Cardiff. I asked Mathias Fabian to escort me and we set off to Cardiff from the Taus. Just as we entered Leeds a BMM employee made a system wide broadcast:
[BMM]John.Davies: beware there are 2 corsair ships inbound in for this system
Never passing on the opportunity to jab at a BMM employee - I make the following wisecrack (only half serious):

I was planning to add a "just kidding" if any corsairs responded - but just then, we (Starless and Mathias) popped out of the trade lane in front of Planet Leeds and immediately the BMM employee, flying a Hussar light fighter - jumped us. A dogfight ensued. I am not very proud that I let this happened as I jeapordized my cargo with my smart mouth.
At first, the BMM seemed to have the advantage - his superior manuverability and his tiny ship was hard to hit. He took away my shield many times. He seemed to be focusing on me. He tauted us several times about our lack of being able to hit him. My Spatial is set up more for mining than fighting, so when i did hit him, I wasn't making much damage. Our advantage was in shear size and duarability - we became better at hitting him and we were exhausting his bots and batts faster than he was exhausting ours. I usually keep my Mini Razor off - it rarely hits a moving target and it takes a lot of power. I turned it on towards the end and I think I got lucky - because suddenly he was no shields and very little hull left. Within seconds his ship exploded.
We proceeded on to Cambridge and deposited the guns in the warehouse. I gave Mathias Fabian a codename Prometheus.
We returned back to the Taus with fresh Spaceship Crew to deliver to the Hand of Sceiron battlecruiser.

Report from: Battlecruiser Hand of Sceiron
After taking delivery of fresh crew from Starless Black and Mathias Fabian, The Hand began a patrol of Tau 37 and shakedown with new crew. Mathias left, but Matthew Fabian appeared with his Mining Ship. The Hand assisted in mining with Matthew Fabian filling up the hold of the Mining Ship.
The Hand then traveled to Freeport 4 to puick up a pair of IMG Battleship Turrets and begin some other outfitting work. The Hand will return to its normal station, Falkland and resume patrols.
Soon the Hand will need to make a big escorted trip to Gran Canaria to finish its loadout.

Harrassment from QCO
Report from: IMG trader Auximines
The Auximines made a Berylium run from Cardiff to Durtmund and was returning with Hi Temp Alloy to sell at Planet Cambridge. When entering the Cambridge system, a QCO pilot spotted the Auximines on long range scanners and the following conversation insued:
[QCO]Sir.Roger.Brinkley: IMG vessel... what are you doing here?
(thinking quickly, I fibbed a little)

[QCO]Sir.Roger.Brinkley: *mutters under breath* not for long, I hope
At this point, I turned around and heading for Cardiff. There were some corsairs and bounty hunters on the fringes of the system that the [QCO] was taunting and conversing with. The conversation made it seem that the Bretonian was searching for the Corsairs - so I decided to make a run at Planet Cambridge. Alas, I was wrong amd the [QCO] was sitting there. I asked permission to land and got the following response:
[QCO]Sir.Roger.Brinkley: Well the answer is "No and bugger off before we give you a rogering "

[QCO]Sir.Roger.Brinkley: Write a letter of complaint won't you
I returned to Cardiff.
The IMG Battlecruiser Endeavour was in Magellan on patrol shooing away Lane Hackers from around Freeport 4. I asked if the Endeavor would like to escort me to Planet Cambridge and give the [QCO] a shock. The Endeavour did come to Cambridge, but by this time the [QCO] had exceeded his patrol duty time and he left (government employees). So the Auximines sold the High Temp Alloy at Cambridge with no further problems.
I should have just told the fellow - "well, I bet the Kusari would like to have this High Temp Alloy for ship building" and left the system. But I didn't want to give the Bretonians any "proof" that we are not nuetral in the war. Especially since we are trying to stay nuetral in the war.
To thank the Endeavour, the Auximines picked up a load of Pharmecueticals and hauled them back to Freeport 4 with the Eandeavour as escort

I'm Jacob Orine, one of the leaders of the Zoner exploration squad called the Cartographers. I've flown around Sirius quite a bit, and during one of my stops on an IMG base, I saw the Spatial. I was told this ship was designed for exploration, able to survive even the harshest radiation and capable of carrying enough supplies to last weeks in space. I knew immediately that this ship was perfect for us... but it was also clearly quite expensive to make.
But I'm sure you're a busy person, so I'll get to the point: I would like access to a Spatial for the Cartographers. We have access to no ships that fill this purpose; we're mostly using transports, Eagles, Vipers bought from Corfu, and Virages for our senior members, and it would be nice to be able to keep an exploration squad going without dragging a Dromedary along with us. Depending on the ship's performance, I may want to acquire more at a later date.
There's not much beyond credits that we can offer, but if necessary, I'm prepared to negotiate.
