Carina's Critique Corner - NebulaCloud - 02-20-2013
I know it might be a touch premature, seeing as I haven't been around quite long enough to get really well established, and my own character's story is more or less just beginning, but after receiving one or two compliments from other players (thanks again, by the way!), I'm curious to hear what other people think of how Carina Valencia is shaping up.
I know I haven't had a chance to RP with too many people, and those I have RPed with have been rather brief sessions, nor have I gotten too terribly far along in writing her story, but the highlights of her backstory that I think are relevant enough to write about is almost complete. I'm pretty sure I'm in a different time zone than the majority of the players on here as well, so that makes it tougher for me to meet other RPers as well.
Anyway, if anyone has any comments, positive OR negative, about her:
- Backstory so far
- Portrait collection
- Ongoing LPI RP thread detailing her rescue in Colorado
...I'd love to hear them so I can know that there is enough interest out there for me to continue one way or the other on these writings as well as future stories, not to mention so I can improve my delivery to make it more immersive and enjoyable.
I'm really loving how my character is starting to take on a life of her own now, and I'm more than a little eager to get her involved in some engaging stories on almost any level (suitably IC, of course). On that note, if anyone is as huge a fan of RP as I am (I suspect there are a lot of you!) and would be interested in creating a joint story, having Carina join yours, or your character joining Carina's, you have but to ask. I prefer to create stories "on the fly" with actual in-game happenings, but sometimes a little premeditation and gentle planning are in order as well.
