AI cruiser cant use Outcast ID? - Skittlez - 02-22-2013
Just spent all of yesterday and half of today screwing my rank to get full with outcasts just to find out that an outcast id is not compatible with an ai cruiser?.. but the problem is when i removed the outcast id and re-equiped my AI id the message still comes up... help?

AI ships can only be used with AI ID's. Simple as.
Actually the nerv comes only with the ID - are you sure that you've equipped it? What is your IFF showing?

my iff is outcasts.... meh, So is it like this with all faction ships? like liberty cruisers cant use outcast id?..

Technically they can. But you'll have a powercore nerv of 10%. Check this list.

Firstly, AI ships cannot be used by humans inRP. There is no life support for us on em. Whole ship is one (or many) big AI.
Secoundly, you dont even need to use AI ship if you are Outcast. You can RP as robot with good intelligence that was made by OCs without using AI ID or ship. Make OC Cruiser with OC ID and RP like robot. easy done.
Thirdly, you will have nerf on AI Cruiser if you using any non civilian turrets or fly without ID. if u put OC turrets there - you must replace em with civilian conterpares.
if you want to use ship that your ID doesnt allows - you can do SRP request. you must have good RP story though.
