Turning off vsync results in stuttering on my screen - Jack_Henderson - 02-24-2013 Hiho! After a lot of threads about how to buff your pvp ability by increasing FPS rate, I wanted to try it, too. (No, I do not want to jitter-cheat and I know how to limit the FPS rate when very high) So... I unlock Vsync on my Nvidia card and I get 150+ FPS, but I get microlag that makes the game totally unplayable. Micro lag looks like minimum stuttering, objects don't come into view smoothly but "hop" in. Does anybody have an idea what to do? RE: Turning off vsync results in stuttering on my screen - Swallow - 02-24-2013 Yes, pretty much the same issue. I am using 16 bit color depth with vSync turned on, it still gives me above descent performance with my netbook's nvidia ION LE. RE: Turning off vsync results in stuttering on my screen - indy.miner1 - 02-24-2013 jack what gfx card have you got sounds like your trying to boost your gfx power but your main cpu is struggling to "give it" the info it needs RE: Turning off vsync results in stuttering on my screen - Jack_Henderson - 02-24-2013 Nvidia GeForce GT440 Computer is not that old. 6 GB Ram and a lot more power than FL should ever require. RE: Turning off vsync results in stuttering on my screen - Daron - 02-25-2013 Jack just use v-sync - all this chatter about 'pvp boost' is kiddocrap. |
