Problems with connecting to any servers/Text issues - Exploration - 02-24-2013

Hello to all,

Got a new PC, installed disco, launchpad ect ect, but now, a day after i can see all the servers in the server list, but it comes up with the connection failed message to them all then i try and connect, ive tried re installing, disabling firewalls, antivirus, the lot,

Also, the text in the freelancer menu, server list, is huge and overlapping eachother making it difficult to read.

If anyone could shed some light on the problem, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

To solve the text overlapping, ingame change th resolution to 1024x768x32 (the default maximum resolution). Then exit the game. Using the Launchpad, change resolution to what you want. Be sure not to touch resolution from the Options menu of the game, that is what screws up text size.

As for the connection issue, try using a new account and see if it works. I don't know what else to suggest, as you've tried doing many things already.

Fixed the internet issue, seems my antivirus was still active when i turned it off, had to totally uninstall it.

And thanks for the tip with the text sizes, worked a treat.
