Hello you lot.

Moka, I'm guessing it's still you running the place. If not, well, hello; whoever you are. I'm certain you haven't forgotten all about me yet, so I hope I won't need to re-introduce myself. If you have forgotten, shame on you.

Anyway, I've been doing some (legal) work lately. I know. I was surprised as well. Long story slightly less long, I've landed a place as an engine tech on a Prison Liner (you would not believe how outdated the drive systems on this thing are. The rate they pump out radiation at, I'm amazed the kitchen needs an oven to cook meals. If they cooked the meals here. Anyway. I'm rambling again). What was I saying?

Right, the Liner. It's scheduled to make a run to Pittsburgh, and it's got a lot of our (well, your) people on board. I know, it was the morons own fault they got captured in the first place; but opportunity knocks! I've attached the details of the shipment here.

I can stop that ship for you.

What's the catch, you ask? Well, I say. First, I'm a little offended that you think I'd only call to ask for something. In this case though, you're right.

Here's the deal:
  • If we succeed, I keep McCreary. You can have whatever's aboard, but the ship and its systems stick with me.
  • The crew are not to be harmed. Most of these guys are just contracters, and it's not like there's no way to get them off. There's two small shuttles on board, amidships, normally used for prisoner transfer. They've got enough life support to take all fourteen of the crew aboard until whoever's collecting them turns up.
  • You bring the fuel. The only way I can stop McCreary from where I'm working is by draining the reactors. I'll need you guys to bring in replacement coolant and fuel once you've eaten the escorts to get it going again.

So, final result, you get a lot of pilots back and access to Liberty Police prison records, and I get a ship.

Fair enough? I thought so. Besides, let's be honest. How many Rouges do you know that would want to fly a Prison Liner. When you think about it, I'm really doing you a favor here. Feel free to thank me.

Oh, and it's nice to talk to you again. It's been far too long.

SHIP ID: LR-Serious.Pacifist
LOCATION: New York, "Drunken Codger"
FROM: Clyde Johnson
RANK: Consigliere
SUBJECT: Prison Liner "McCreary"

Ahoy Sarah,

I'm not sure if I had a Liberty Ale ta much, and thus am just hallucinating, but if that's really ya - oh wow. I remember ya, and it indeed was a long time ago I've last heard of ye. Weren't you declared 'missed in action' or such? Whatever, it's far too long ago to remember.

So you probably weren't expecting me, but Moka to respond yer message? So did I! That dirty dog appears to be stuffing around all day long, ignoring my notification 'bout yer appearance - would be 'bout time that someone kicks him in his lazy butt. Anyhow, I'm not sure if ye remember me - I tend to regularly change my surname, to maintain my cover. Just call me Clyde. I'm the one who currently takes care of all that serious business, the Rogues are daily being faced with - keepin' the pack in order so to speak.

So back to yer 'new business idea'. Got ye hands on a prison liner, eh? It indeed sounds appealing to me. And I bet some action couldn't hurt the Bloodhound Gang, and maybe I could even organize a Mule freighter fo' the fuel ye be needin' to get that scrapyard movin'. The deal is fair enough. We'd just sell that liner to ta local Junkers anyways, so we'll thankfully let you keep it as gift, ya? Although I'm wonderin' what ye'd be doin' with that thing anyways. I better don't wanna know the details.

Count us in. If everything will go as planned, we'll see ye in a week then. My men will be there, lookin' forward to smash some fat LPI's donut-booty. Oh and I'll see that I get Moka's attention on that channel here once more. I think he owes you a short replay at least.

With hangoverish regards,

Thanks Clyde, I owe you one.

I remember you! Jeez, it has been a while, hasn't it? I won't mention your previous last name here, but I can't say how good it is to see a familiar face.

Not sure if I was ever really missing, per se. I did take some time out with the Zoners in the Edge Worlds though. There's some amazing stuff out there. Planets that dwarf Manhattan, and some ships that are just about capable of the same. It really was miraculous, but we all have to come home eventually right?

Anyway, thanks for the help. I can't stay on the line for too long, I've got to get back to getting McCreary ready to fly. As to what I plan to do with it, well... We'll just have to wait and see, right? It'll be good, I promise.

There should be plenty of time to catch up later though, assuming Moka's kept the old bar at Buffalo running? If he hasn't, I can see why he's been quiet lately. He'd have to go into hiding following something like that.

Catch you later,
