LOCATION: HMS Pandora, Newark Station RECEIVER: LPI, LN SUBJECT: Public accusations Dear Sir or Madam, at first, we might have to apologize, bothering your with such small incident. However, when our Cruise Liner departed from Planet Pittsburgh, shipping libertonian passengers into Bretonia space - we were stopped by a so-called 'Judge'. He blamed us for being into slave trading! Of course that isn't corrected. To my knowledge our passengers consisted of legal tourists and commuters only. But apparently he has already informed you of that misunderstanding, without actually explaining himself. Well, you shall see yourself. I've attached the communication logs: ### Opening visual link ### ### Starting audio log file ### Code: [03.03.2013 15:34:15] Judge-Justin: holy He suddenly turned quiet after him sending the 'evidence' to you. However, I've decided to take a break at Newark Station in case you like to investigate in this situation. But I beg you to hurry, since the passengers are likely not as patient as I am. Thanks in advance for a quick reply. Yours faithfully, ![]() Captain of the HMS Pandora Bretonia Armed Forces ### Transmission terminated ###
RE: To: LPI | CC: [LN] - Error - 03-03-2013 INCOMING TRANSMISSION, NN NO. #4580923 Sender: Deputy Chief Colin Sinclair Location: Red Deer II, Alberta Subject: Re: Public accusations Hello again, Mr. Hope. You've got nothing to worry about. As you say, this is indeed a quite small incident. We have received no transmission from the Freelancer group you referred to ("The Judges"), so I can't really see that we've got a case to work with here at all. Feel free to proceed from Newark to your destination at will; we will take no further action in this case until they can provide some solid evidence, which I severely doubt. One last thing to note in this case is that they, like all Freelancers, have absolutely no power to enforce any laws whatsoever in Liberty, despite their name and (usually) good intentions, so adding an extra delay for your passengers by pulling over at Newark was not really required. We would have contacted you directly if we had received a report that you'd violated the Laws of Liberty, but, as mentioned earlier, we haven't seen a single complaint with your name on it (yet). -Colin Sinclair, Deputy Chief of the Liberty Police, Inc. LOCATION: HMS Pandora, Newark Station RECEIVER: LPI, LN SUBJECT: Public accusations Very fine. Thanks for the quick response Mr. Sinclair. Apparently that 'Judge' was just harassing us then. We bretonians do normally take people by their word, and since he supposedly sent "evidence to the liberty police authority", I was worried that he's going to show you some faked material in order to harm us. I don't know much about their group, but our last contact with them went rather unfriendly - them throwing racist comments at us. So I thought it'd be wise to contact you before their unreasonable hate on bretonians brings us into a tricky situation, considering that we're just guests in Liberty. Anyways, thanks for your time. I hope we won't have to bother you with such again. If it's true that they can't be the law enforcers they're trying to be, we'll likely ignore them in future. With best regards, ![]() Captain of the HMS Pandora Bretonia Armed Forces ### Transmission terminated ###
