Is there any way to start the single player game on lvl 1 and without the bajillion energy shield and cheetah thruster? I don't remember getting those in the previous versions of discovery.

do you mean story mode or open SP? You cant play story mode with anything after 4.84, for open SP, I think you gotta start your own server on LAN, and toggle the starting options as a server admin. Try the help section for more details, thats where this thread should have gone.

I mean open SP. I don't remember having to play on lan for that. Last time I checked "new game" put you in open SP instead of story. Now when I go new game I get max level instantly, and a shield with 1000000000000 energy.
