Do to the increase of spam and spam accounts new accounts have to be approved by an admin and you also have to either send an email with your forum name your using to signup to verify your a FL player or you can skype me your forum name for our forum so we can approve your accounts

Those filthy spammers ruin it for everyone.
If you are using MyBB there is a way to stop a lot of the spammers. In the dashboard, in the configuration section there there is a section called 'User Registration and Profile Options.
Under that there is an option to display a hidden captcha. What this does is it displays this capthca during registration. Regular users won't see it but spam bots will. If anything is entered in this field, which there won't be when a human registers, the registration is treated as spam and disallowed.
I use it on mine and I haven't had any spam. Knock on wood
