Hello there, good recipient of this transmission!

I am Patrick Gloomsdale of Gloomsdale & C:o, the finest merchant company of personal goods for all your space needs! It just so appears that I've run into an issue; I heard there's a good market for my goods in Corsair and Outcast space but well.. My NavMap isn't really the best updated there is. Because of this I'm now in search for a guide (and possibly escort should things against all odds get untidy) to get me through said space. An ideal candidate would look something like this:
  • Knows the area(s)! This means both Corsair and Outcast space if you're an independent pilot.
  • Flies something small, hopefully with capabilities of reaching 400 km/h in cruise speed.
  • Doesn't have a bad relationship with locals.
  • Not in a rush. If someone comes along that looks like a potential customer, I need to try to work my magic before moving on.
  • Not an idiot, but I doubt many idiots live long enough to know their way about in dangerous space.
Payment includes good ol' credits in reasonable amounts, a temporary (1 purchase) large and permanent small discount when getting yourself some fantastic Gloomsdale & C:o wares! Acceptable guides would also be locals (Corsairs or Outcasts) that obviously can't travel into the others' space, but is well familiar with their own. Something that would speak for you as a Corsair or Outcast would be if you could arrange for a meeting with a fellow local I could show my wares to.

Interested? Of course you are! Respond to this transmission with some personal information to have a chance at this sweet deal!

Good day Mr. Enrico!

Well as you might imagine, I'm not personally very familiar with neither Corsairs nor Outcasts except for a few interactions here and there within house space or sharing a drink on a freeport. I highly doubt my merchandise would make any kind of difference in whatever conflict you have going as I usually trade in say.. Comfort or luxury items such as perfume, interesting snacks or necklaces. However, Gloomsdale & C:o is currently expanding from its already established market and if you can convince me that the Corsairs are people that would appreciate our goods, we can arrange an agreement of sorts. But first I would like to actually see what the market is like in Corsair space myself. It could be a good idea to be my guide to make sure all goes well and I don't accidentally slip into Outcast territory, yes?

Now Amigo you see our problem is that you broadcastet to both Corsairs and Outcasts.
and now you want to wander around in our home space.
And you you have not even told us what you can offer us. you see that is what makes us abit worried.

I suggest that you come clean and tell us what you have to offer, or our space will be closed for your ship

Hastalavista

Patrick looks really confused on the video screen and hesitates to start speaking for a few seconds..

My good Mr. Enrico,

I believe we might be having some sort of communications issue here, but I'll clarify what Gloomsdale & C:o trades in. We're a (small) independent company that trades in personal effects to make the life in space more comfortable, not really much more better. Examples of this would be things like jewellery, wine, holographic video games, audio disks, cough medicine and similar goods. That and nothing else is what I offer to every customer, and it's all in small amounts since we don't have any kind of resources to actually afford large scale trading. I've based all selling on a pilot-to-pilot interaction and there is currently no foreseeable change in that company policy because we cannot break into the already existing big transport, station to station-market.

I'm not aware of how deep your hostility towards the Outcasts is rooted, but I assure you my wares would not turn any tides of war. Still, even after your not-so-welcoming messages, if you can arrange a meeting with someone in charge (if you are yourself, I apologize) I can offer a deal to only expand into Corsair territory and not Outcast.

I hope I made things more clear,
Patrick.
