**** TO: Order Overwatch ****

Dear Sirs or Madams of the Order Overwatch,

this is Jack Henderson, Independent Miners Guild Operations Coordination Office speaking to you.

Over the last weeks, the Guild has come under attack by increasingly violent Khara| creatures. Yesterday's attack in Dublin was only one in a long series of aggressions that the Guild experienced.

The enemy activity seems centered around the mining sectors Dublin and Tau 23. Miners and other civilian ships seem piority targets to these craven creatures who normally retreat after their hits, in Dublin to Chester, in Tau 23 to Omicron Alpha.

Especially the Nomad known as Irra is a real danger to civilian shipping and is responsible for countless acts of destruction of mainly innocent and defenseless transport and mining assets, not even to speak of the human loss. They also proved as a real challenge in combat.

This communication includes the question whether the Order can spare ships and pilots to battle the Khara| influence in these main economic sectors of Sirius. Your expert knowledge of the enemy could improve the security for civilian shipping a lot.

The Guild can offer Tau 37 Falkland as a staging base for Order pilots. Your ships have already been cleared for docking, in case you want to take up this offer.

In Bretonia, we cannot offer Hood for political reasons, I fear. I do not know where Order pilots could stage from.

I am looking forward to your answer.

Admiral Golanski here.

You caught me with this message while I was already in transit to Dublin with few assault wings. Sufficient to say all of those alien bastards ran like there was no tommorow. Impact on locals seems minimal as they pose friendly. I will talk with you when I set up a shop around here.

Golanski out.

Order brought down "Irra" class in Dublin just a few minutes ago as I send this transmission. It is particulary hard to find you since you explicitely mentioned not to show our faces around Hood.

Anyway, I said I will contact you again and so I am doing. I will need to say that you should expect more attacks in the future - Bretonia is simply not sanitized. Now, you can expect Order to come to destroy these aliens as often as it is humanly possible. Our patrols span entire space known by human race and such cold, vast expanse requires resources and assets everywhere to keep those operations going.

I am not asking you for payment but I want to discuss how IMG can contribute in this war. We are interested in exploitable influence, parts we can use to construct vessels of all purpose and sizes. Additional munition means we can shoot way more Nova torpedos at our common enemies. From concretes right now I need to know IMG status in following systems: Coronado, Newcastle and Magellan. I can get this by other means, however honest answer from locals themselves gives potentially more data and insight.

Golanski out.

**** TO: Overwatch Mr. Golanski ****

Dear Mr. Golanski,

Firstly let me thank you for your efforts in Dublin. The activity has been noted and it seems that there are first successes to be celebrated. The IMG would like to thank the Order for this.

Now, you asked my about how the Guild can assist the Order in their fight against the Nomad influence.

Tau Region: I think that Taus are covered by the agreements we have. Docking and combat assistance seems to work out well in the Taus.

Bretonia Region: The illegal status of the Order in Bretonia makes it impossible for the IMG to cooperate openly. Our base in Newcastle has lost most of its attractivity after the refinery for Helium-3 broke down. The IMG has no knowledge of any Nomad activities in the system, but our activities are generally very limited there.

Coronado System: The IMG has control about the mining operation on Camp Lister, but the system is mainly in Colonial hands now after the Tau Exodus. If the Colonial Forces and your men get along, I do not see anything that would obstruct e.g. granting of docking rights at Camp Lister and refueling&repairing services.

Magellan: I am not informed about the Order's standing in Liberty and about your Liberty operations. So it is hard to offer anything.

In general, it would be much easier if you told me what you wish for and I check what I can do, instead of having me suggest means because I frankly lack knowledge of what an Order operation needs.

Let me know what you want. And I'll see what I can get.

Thank you for your help. It is appreciated a lot.

Reason I am asking, is that Newcastle, Dublin and Coronado are considered high risk for Nomad presence. Magellan for a change is low risk. Overt Order operations in Bretonia based from your installations are currently no go due to overinflated Bretonian crown pride on topic of Nomad threat.

Back to Coronado, Colonials are not an issue - neither with pre-Gallic invasion government and new one, currently in exile. Taking note that planet is best suited as logistic point rather than freelancer habitat asteroid deeper in nebula I have to ask about your storage capability on surface of Pecos. I intend to deploy support vessel in area and store supplies needed for another operation. Should you have any munitions in reserve, we will need it later.

Golanski out.

**** TO: Overwatch Mr. Golanski ****

Dear Mr. Golanski,

Newcastle has never occured as particularly dangerous for the IMG activities, but as I said: there are not few and those shipments and patrols that take place stay on the lanes. If there is a significant threat that we have overlooked, it would be appreciated if you could share some intel that could lead to further improve passive security measures for shipments.

Dublin has become more dangerous, I agree. Relatively frequent incursions may also have been linked by the Gold Rush that created much more activity in the region. Likely the Nomads have been disturbed by it and thus attracted. All we can say is that Hood has pinpointed their approach vectors to the Chester hole in 62 % of the monitored incursions. Retreats from Dublin were 87 % into that direction. We have no real knowledge about the system.

Coronado: The IMG can offer to store supplies in the necessary quantities of goods that an Order mission would require. Hosting supplies and repair and rearm services on Camp Lister is a minor contribution when compared to your dangerous frontline service in Dublin. If you decide to move some wings there, we would ask for the discretion that every Order operations has shown until now. The less common the knowledge is, the less questions are asked and the better the impact of the surprise attacks. I can order shipments whenever you give me a green light for your operation. I assume we are talking about standard mnitions, or do you require anything special?

Yours sincerely

I will shed some information to you about Newcastle starsystem. Due to Bretonians trying to cover this up, do not repeat this to anyone for your own safety.

Newcastle is huge star system and large parts of it are not visited by civilian traffic. As long you keep to the trade lanes, encounter is not likely to happen. Threats beyond safety of civilian installations include Rheinland military ships of various configurations and modifications. All of them are related to scourge that attacks shipments in Omega 3 and 7 under false flag operations.

Chester is empty and desolate starsystem without any resources or capability to sustain human life. It links to both Dublin and Newcastle alike and as you noted, Nomads frequently make use of that since recent gold rush. This among few other reasons made us to classify those systems as high risk.

Back on topic of Coronado, we need currently the following:
  • Fuel: Military grade of H-Fuel, MOX and deuterium.
  • Ammo: Stock of bomber and snubcraft standard issue munitions.
  • Safe and hidden storage for classified materials, spare parts and equipment we send in. Prefferably away from inhabited IMG and Colonial installations. 10k of standard units storage should be sufficient for our needs.
  • Provided hangar and launch pads for repairing our snubcraft.

List may increase or be modified depending on progress of our operation. I assume objectives will be completed within two months time.

Golanski out.
