LWB/Freelancer rep - Reid - 04-09-2013
Today I was in Koeln trying to get onto the LWB cruiser, but my rep wasn't very good. So, I went to the FL base, grabbed a Bundy bribe, saw that my LWB rep went to -.3, and set off. I made my way across the system, pressed dock, then was confused when it told me to get lost. I checked my rep page for LWB, and it said -.55. I thought I misread it before, so I went back to the FL base, grabbed a LWB bribe, then made my way back. I figured that +.6 was good enough to please the picky docking admins, but, alas, upon reaching the cruiser, I discovered that my rep was back down to -.55.
At this point I was beginning to get annoyed, as all of these bribes were ruining my good name with the lawfuls. To guarantee my docking, I switched my FL ID for a Recruit ID (Flying a fighter npnp), grabbed a RH bribe, and finally managed to dock on the cruiser. After purchasing my sought after loot, I grabbed a Freelancer ID and undocked. Not only did I see my fashionable new Bundy IFF from all the bribes, but I also saw LWB back down to -.55. Even though I managed to get what I wanted (as I typically do), it came at a cost of my reputation with the local lawfuls and some of my glorious credits.
So to sum it all up: What's the deal with the LWB rephack on the FL ID? And if it's intentional (for some strange reason), then why does the FL ID still get 75% on all LWB tech?

It is intentional. The LWB doesn't want freelancers or pirates staging whatever it is they do from LWB bases, and thus requested the rephack.
Edit: If you're planning on getting an LWB char set up, just grab a Bundschuh ID or something to dock.
