::::To Samura from the Consensus, concerning a potential Purchase:::::: - Di'taraAlpha - 04-10-2013

::::::::::::::Greetings Samura:::::::::

As the largest Keiretsu in Kusari (indeed, the largest manufacturing and shipping cooperation within Sirius), it has been the aim of the Consensus (who –obviously- are completely dependent on terrestrial manufactured goods at this moment in time); to enter negotiations with you - Sirius’s most influential producer of industrial goods, superstructures, and stellar components – with a reliability rate which greatly exceeds that of your counterparts; we are intrigued to enter direct negotiations with you Samura, as logic dictates and the Consensus urges.

With time efficiency paramount, let us cut to “the heart of matter” our transmission concerns. Recent observations of Sigma-13 neural net have lead the Consensus to notice the virtues of your K7:P-19T Armoured container transport; colloquially named the “Akegata”. There is much to “praise” in the design specifications: the ship’s modular construction, significant cargo hold, functional profile, and significant allocation of blast doors, kinetic screens, internal armouring, and general resilience that grants the ship a cargo storage to cargo loss ratio comparable to the Rheinlandic ‘Uruz’ or Bretonian ‘Shire’ (both excellent vessels, having a survivability ratio under Independent Miners Guild jurisdiction of more than 5/2 during organised pirate raids in the boarder words of the Taus and Omegas). Couple these statistics to the ship’s 4200 cubic tonne cargo capacity and you have a ship worthy of considerable investment.

With the K7:P-19T, the Consensus expects to surpass these survival rates.

The statistics are indeed impressive, exceeding those of the hardy BW transports that make up the largest shells within our logistics arm to date. After a general gathering of the Consensus it was deemed that the transport (with on-site refits to powerplant and system armouring), the ship will be deemed capable of surviving extended trading missions within the Omicron regions, even when placed under the threat of destruction by nomad bio forms. With this in mind, the Consensus wishes to make a purchase.

Listed below are our following terms of purchase:
1) The Consensus wishes to obtain four Akegatas in a “one-off”, single time purchase. As the human saying goes: “no more, no less”.
2) To minimise risk to your personal a team of Consensian cyborgs and the ship’s host intelligence will obtain the vessels directly from the Junyo Planetary Dockyards. No need for your “employees” to make a dangerous transfer to the omicrons.
3) The transports must be manufactured to the following specifications:
• Both the ship’s thrusters and primary H-fuel powerplant must be bolted (rather than welded) to the internal hull, as they will be immediately removed upon the craft’s arrival at the Kappa dockyards (to be replaced with our own systems).
• Life support provision is unnecessary for floors 2-18, and those same compartments are to be stripped back and left bare (we will fill them as required with our own systems).
• The bridge itself only requires basic flight controls.
• All passenger compartments (excepting three) are to be left bare or removed entirely (this provides catering for the Cybernetic service crews who will collect the ships).
• All Samura-specific none-interchangeable components and electronics are to be removed, as they cannot integrate with our own electronics.
• A central space directly behind the bridge is to be left open for the positioning of an AI intelligence server.
• All turrets are to be removed (the Akegata’s tactical layout is completely incompatible with AI technology, a flaw which neither of our organisations can actively rectify, thus meaning the ship’s power core (when we insert it) may prove vastly inefficient).
• Any house-identification transponders are to be removed completely.
• Any cooperate identification markings on the ship are to be painted over.

We await to hear your reply. Will Samura execute the agreement?

Good Evening.
Samura has never done business with the Consensus before, this necessitates that we first build a customer database to work with.
I hope you understand, but we are limited by our database and it's requirements.
As such I would ask that you endeavor to answer the following questions so we may move along to a great business relationship.
Quote:Name of organisation:
Headquarters of organisation:
Sphere of influence of organisation:
Primary operations of organisation:
Primary point of contact:
Expected area of collusive operations:

Once that is complete we can move along to your proposition and begin shaking hands.

Good day.

Good Evening.
I thank you for that and your details have now been added to our database.
It is a pleasure to meet you.

I must say Samura have not had much experience with dealing with sentient artificial life forms in the past, we were lucky enough to be able to visit a Harvester vessel once before which I am sure you can agree was exciting.

Now about the terms of your proposition, article one and two are acceptable and as such I see no problems there.
Article three while fine for the most part does have a section that Samura is unable to comply with.
You see here at Samura we do not make unnamed parts, all accessories and components are proudly stamped with our corporate logo.
Also we will not be removing nor defacing said logo before the point of sale as is custom.
Now if you wish to remove or paint over these logos that is of course your prerogative.
However you should be aware that this would negate the warranty on said vessels.
If you are happy with that than I see no issue.

So tell me, are you happy to proceed?

Good day.
