**** TO: Bounty Hunters Guild, BHG Headquarters **** Dear Sir or Madam, The Independent Miners Guild are in the process of updating and potentially renegotiating the currently existing tech exchange agreements. This reevaluation has been triggered by the siriuswide liberalisation of the equipment, ship and weapon markets. Therefore the Independent Miners Guild would like to present its new technology rules in case the Bounty Hunters Guild is interested in aquiring more IMG technology in the future. > Recommendations: I can recommend the Nanda Devi bomber that is - in my opinion - superior to the BHG bomber when it comes to anti-warship operations. The 3 slot bomber can support Disruptor, Nova and Supernova and can dish out enormous damage. The Gasherbrum gunboat has performed very well with BHG gunboat cannons. The core can support these guns rather well and when armored it is one of the sturdiest boats out there. I promise, it can take the heat. > IMG Technology and Availablility:
> Update Request: We would also want to ask for an update on the current granted BHG technology, which consists of:
Manta: Our tests have shown that the Manta performs very well under fire and outclasses the Lhotse, so we would like to ask for an increase in the numbers that we can employ for defense. Bomber: The Bounty Hunter bomber has proven to be a niche-ship for one special purpose: Hellfire Barrage. The Guild would ask for an upgrade from one ship to "a few" if this is possible. While the Nanda Devi is superior, the surprise of a full Hellfire BHG bomber can turn fights. Bottlenose: The combat effectiveness of the gunship is high, even though the light armor plating makes it vulnerable in large engagements. The Bottlenose proved to be a great asset in protection of mining operations in hot zones like the Taus. We would like to request the number that the IMG flies to be increased. Thank you for your time and I hope to see your ships soon again in the Taus. We have a lot of ships that need to be shot there and I think our rewards per kill are one of the best offered in all of Sirius. Yours sincerely Jack Henderson IMG Operations Coordination ![]() RE: to: Bounty Hunters Guild - | - topic: Technology Echange - Agmen of Eladesor - 04-15-2013 ---Incoming Transmission--- ---Max DeVirgo, Guildmaster--- ---Dabadoru Base, Omicron Delta--- Mr. Henderson ... We'll discuss this and get back to you shortly. DeVirgo ---End Official Transmission--- ---Begin Personal Transmission--- Jack - Probably, just let me see what the bean counters say on this side. Small stuff isn't too much of an issue, since we have our production lines settled out. That one guy from IMG that wanted our big stuff ... Man, I hope you gave him a intelligence injection. Max ---End personal transmission--- RE: to: Bounty Hunters Guild - | - topic: Technology Echange - meoshi - 04-20-2013 -=Incoming Message=- -=From: Ronald Roberts, Guild secretary.=- Greetings Jack Henderson, It's always nice to hear from you guys up there. Upon reading over your request it seems to be fair. The components for the following ships can be arranged to be delivered to the station of your choosing by APM shipping so long as all ships delivered are to be used in base/convoy defense only. Quote:> Update Request:As for our end of the bargain. The guild will be requesting the following ship for in house hunting, The components of which we wish to be delivered to Sheffield Station in Manchester. Quote:I'm looking forward to your response. Sincerely, Ronald Roberts. Seems Jack didn't actually sign off on this little order. For a "behind the desk" sort of guy - no offence to yourself, lad - he has captured the pros of each our designs pretty well. I've had one of your... 'Moray', I think you call them, bombers for a while and it sure is a beauty. Glad you lot agree with how nice our own ships are, so I guess we'll get this deal on the go.
As a group of shipbuilders, you've probably got better transports for carrying ships. Would be much easier to pick them up yourself, as we're used to flying them right out the hangar. Perhaps you could drop off our own ships on the way in? As for Vampires and Matterthiefs, I hope you don't mind if we skip the delivery across two lanes? Freeport 4 has plenty of them ready and waiting to be fitted if your pilots want to head across from Sheffield as needed. If you need a shipment of replacement parts, give us a shout; the Transport Division do delivery. For the Guild, Eric Pearce |
