Ah Windows - Ichiru - 04-16-2013 So I'm at someone else's house using my laptop for a little bit. Going home, so I turn off my laptop (running on my stupid Windows partition ). My computer then decides that right then is the best time to install 116 updates. By the time I got home it's up to update 50 and it's still running now. Constant reboot applying updates, it felt like i stuck in Groundhog Day. I did my first bunch of updates in 5 minutes do you have dial up still? RE: Ah Windows - Luke. - 04-16-2013 I stopped bothering with Windows Update after a while and turned automatic off. They have basically no impact as long as your firewall, Anti-Virus etc aren't garbage and you're not running Vista.
