To whom it may concern,

I'd like to inquire about the availability of positions within your General Liner Fleet, and any possible prerequisites to be considered for selection. While I'm not currently looking for work, it's quite possible that that will become the case very shortly.

I've got experience in operating both small and large craft, atmospheric and interstellar. Most of my experience has been aboard military craft, particularly as the Executive Officer aboard the LNS-Ravenswood, a Titania-Class assault carrier, and later as the Commanding Officer of the LNS-Furious, an Interdictor-Class Battlecruiser.

Appointments in or around Bretonia would be ideal, although I'm not really in a position to be picky. I'm happy to consider work with your security division, if there's a lack of positions in General Operations. As I'm certain you understand, the situation in Bretonia at present makes it difficult to secure any form of work with local companies, so I'll likely consider anything you may have available.

Would you also be able to forward me some information on pay scales and accommodation, if any is available? As a Liberty National, I don't presently have accommodation in Bretonia, and I'm curious as to whether your company provides it for employees or if I'd have to seek out my own.

Thank you for your time.

Tyler, out.

Greetings Miss Tyler, this is David Crooke, Operations Manger of Orbital Spa & Cruise.

Orbital Spa & Cruise is always open to new members. Looking into your background, I would say it is a bit strange for somebody who is already way up there in the military to suddenly turn to work here, but I won't enquire further.

We don't mind you flying in security, seeing as you have the experience already. As for flying a liner, let's just say that a liner is very different from a battlecruiser. In a military capital ship, you perform evasive manoeuvres and aggressive tactics, in a liner, a smooth ride for your clients on board is paramount. Before taking command of a liner, I would prefer if you be a vice-captain, seeing as you do have knowledge of large vessels already.

If you need a place in Bretonia, I could get in touch with our local branch there to provide you a job. Shouldn't be a problem to get you into Bretonia.

As for accommodations, liner captains tend to live on board their liners in the captain's cabin near the bridge. Let's just say that the accommodations available for a liner captain is above average. As for security, I guess I can set up a room on one of our pre-existing facilities on any of the planets, bar Leeds mainly because we don't have a resort on that heavily polluted mudball. So, your call, I can provide you with accommodations on either Cambridge or New London. Rental will be waived for employees so no fee.

That's all the information I can provide, if you need more details, don't hesitate to contact Orbital Spa & Cruise. Thank you.

David Crooke signing off.

Mister Crooke,

Thank you for such a quick response. Your company's faster then most of the military units I've dealt with.

I had no expectations of being thrown aboard a Liner as a Captain, I'd be more lost then a Gaul in New York, so I'm sorry if that's how I came off. I certainly didn't intend to come across as that pretentious. As you said, it's unlikely I'll be conducting tactical approaches in one of your Liners any time soon. I imagine that would end with champagne everywhere and several dissatisfied customers. An appointment as a Comms Officer would have been more then I'd expected, so to hear that Vice-Captain positions are available is fantastic news.

Bretonia would be ideal, while Leeds would have been my first preference, I understand the current political climate isn't exactly inviting from a corporate viewpoint. Central Bretonia, around New London would be perfectly fine, if there's any operations based out of that area.

In regard to my departure from the Navy, it's no cause for concern. Simply a case of the warship I served upon undergoing decommissioning and leaving a lot of us without a meaningful posting. Combined with personal factors, it was enough prevent me re-enlisting when the packages rolled around last night. If you need to see my service record, I'm certain I can attach it for you.

So, as I'm currently without work, I'll be in touch with the Recruitment branch of your Human Resources group inside a day.

Thank you for your assistance, Mister Crooke. Here's hoping we'll work together in future.

Tyler, out.
