What do you guys think about Mars One? If you haven't heard, a private space organization is asking for volunteers to start a colony on Mars and will never be able to return. They'll get their water from ice in the soil and energy from solar panels.
Would you drop everything and voluntarily be banished to another planet?

Shouldn't this be in general discussion?
Also, I plan on applying for Mars One. I don't care about not coming back, I would give anything to be one of the four selected. Pioneering space travel and colonization on another planet is a dream I have always had.

You're right, it should be in General...
But wow, thats a huge decision. Better be pretty certain, because theres no going back, and a lifetime is.... a lifetime.

I've read it and I still didn't find what they will eat. Maybe a huuuge greenhouse is one of those things the robots will prepare before?

Remember, there still is internet, so I can play disco with a ping of 2000. Ultimate lagnom. But, after everything, my odds of being one of the four chosen is less than 1%.
