FL Swag Pack 0.4 and 0.5. Didn't find any viruses or malware using Avast!. Let me know if this doesn't work or is false and I'll remove the link.

Sorry to stick the shovel in the grave again but now Infinitys link isn't working either. Can anyone help a Freelancer brother out?

On the subject of hosting I've never been a fan of mega upload, the downloads never last. I use windows live for hosting my website files (usually long lost mod packs for games lol). Google drive & Dropbox work fine too. Although for something like this a moddb page hosting the files works great too.

Hey there, sometimes I check out this site and think about the good old days.

Found this link on an archived reddit thread.

Since the grave has already been disturbed....
( Seriously, this is not gravedigging. The topic might be aged, but it is not dead yet. And it will not be, until someone creates new mod pack, the swagpack is integrated in DiscoveryFL or people stop playing Freelancer altogether. )

Now back on topic:
I confirmed, that the file on google-drive contains exactly the same files as I downloaded from this topic ages ago.
Scanned with antivirus, repacked and renamed: Freelancer_Swag_Pack_v0.5.7z and uploaded it to few mirrors:

If you have a suggestion for another mirror file sharing site, let me know.

RE: The Swag Pack - Graphical Enhancements for Vanilla - Beauenheim - 12-04-2018

Hi all! Just updated the post. Thanks ronillon, I went ahead and put all your links in the post.

I went ahead and started playing again, at least vanilla for now, and will start discovery after. So I went ahead and deleted the pesky cursor and bloom. Also re-uploaded the post into 2 packs. Both include the HD audio files. The vanilla pack includes a lot of the stuff I wanted in the original swag pack, but couldn't because of conflicts with discovery. So I added that too! See OP.

Also if anyone can re-upload these files to other mirrors (again lol) that would be awesome.

Hi,

thanks a lot for this pack, it leaves Freelancer awesome.

I want to comment two little issues after having checked all the systems (more or less):

- Planet Fuji spins very fast. Returned to original values at:
\DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEMS\KU01\ku01.ini

where

spin = 0, 0, 0

- Jumphole to Omicron Alpha NAME not present in Omicron Theta at:
\DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEMS\EW04\ew04.ini

where

ids_name = 260894

** LAST OBJECT IN .INI

Hope this helps and you can solve it.

Hello, you obviously made an account to post this info, so thank you and welcome to Discovery.
It seems from your post that you are referring to "Freelancer Vanilla The Swag Pack v1.0"
( This is because unlike "Freelancer Discovery The Swag Pack v1.0", this pack alters the UNIVERSE folder as well. )

Just in case you are referring to the version for Discovery, please note, that modifying these files is not permitted on the multiplayer server. You might get banned if you try to connect with modified version.

Now, just to make it even easier for @"Bo!" let us see what exactly are you talking about:

Freelancer Vanilla The Swag Pack v1.0.7z\Freelancer Vanilla The Swag Pack\DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEMS\KU01\Ku01.ini
Current version:
Code:
[Object]
nickname = Ku01_Fuji_planet
ids_name = 261133
pos = 56342, 0, 42043
archetype = planet_gasgrncld_5000
ids_info = 66071
spin = 0, 0.035000, 0
atmosphere_range = 5200
burn_color = 255, 222, 160

Your suggestion:
Code:
[Object]
nickname = Ku01_Fuji_planet
ids_name = 261133
pos = 56342, 0, 42043
archetype = planet_gasgrncld_5000
ids_info = 66071
spin = 0, 0, 0
atmosphere_range = 5200
burn_color = 255, 222, 160
After checking spin rates in Ku01, Ew04, Br03 it seems Fuji is spinning as fast as other planets.
Maybe it is the texture, that makes the rotation subjectively more pronounced?

Freelancer Vanilla The Swag Pack v1.0.7z\Freelancer Vanilla The Swag Pack\DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEMS\EW04\Ew04.ini
Current version:
Code:
[Object]
nickname = Ew04_to_Hi01_hole
pos = 26948, 0, -13416
rotate = 0, 170, 0
archetype = jumphole_green
jump_effect = jump_effect_hole
msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_Hi01
ids_info = 66146
visit = 0
goto = Hi01, Hi01_to_Ew04_hole, gate_tunnel_bretonia

Your suggestion:
Code:
[Object]
nickname = Ew04_to_Hi01_hole
ids_name = 260894
pos = 26948, 0, -13416
rotate = 0, 170, 0
archetype = jumphole_green
jump_effect = jump_effect_hole
msg_id_prefix = gcs_refer_system_Hi01
ids_info = 66146
visit = 0
goto = Hi01, Hi01_to_Ew04_hole, gate_tunnel_bretonia
This one is pretty straightforward, the ids_name is obviously missing in the current file.

RE: The Swag Pack v1.0 - Graphical & Audio Enhancements - Lazar0 - 05-22-2019

Yes, yes, I'm very sorry.

I was refering to the Swag Pack for Vanilla FL version. I checked this because I'm doing the subtitles for cinematics and inflight dialogues (for Spanish release) and see these issues when testing the subtitles.

I have another HD graphical mods, but I have tested it with the files restored also. So it happens anyway. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with Fuji, I don't know. I have Jason's Patch also installed, but it does not happen with Jason's Patch only, it happened to me after installing Swag Pack for Vanilla FL.

The same with NAME for jumphole, but it is very obvius, I think.

No need to apologize, the feedback is welcome.
Im not currently able to test this and I have never used Jasons Patch so not sure if they colide in some way.

I would suggest trying fresh Vanilla FL install and compare to Vanilla FL with Swagpack only. Possibly check your FPS, might make the planet seem spining faster/slower.

Also kudos for making the subtitles.

Ok, I've checked it only for help. And yes, a FL Vanilla instalation with Swagpack for Vanilla FL, presents the Fuji spin thing. I have one vanilla install for testing purposes, and I have checked it, and it happens. I'm sorry.

Maybe you know someone that can test it also.

The name has an easy solution. About the spin, it is very odd, but I've tried with very low values, like 0,0001 or even 0,00001 and it spins really fast. Very fast. Like 5 world rounds per second more or less no matter the value you put there.

It is the unique planet I've seen that this is happening. There are other planets that spins more fast or more slow but I assume the rates are normal.

Oh wow! This is great. Now I'm very glad I resurrected the thread haha. Downloading now. Smile
