Evening everyone,

I'll try and make this quick. As you know, the Colonial movers are seen throughout most of Sirius, and as such we get to see all sorts of people and activities. Generally it's rather nice! We of course though, are also accustomed to running into pirates along our routes. Some are patient and compromising, some are not. Today though, is a first for me...

Earlier today, during one of my routes, I was stopped in the California system right outside the Ontario jumpgate tradelane by a pirate. No shocker, as I was warned ahead of time that I may run into one from a "LNS-Justice". Justice informed me that the pirate was in a rather strange ship considering, but I wasn't about to let that stop me from fulfilling my contract. I had an escort with me, callsign "Hunter_one" who went ahead to scout. Cali was clear, so he went ahead to Cortez. Within moments of entering Cortez, he was fired upon and his ship destroyed. I barely got my ship turned around before the pirate jumped into Cali. His ship name was "Ka-Bar". One of my gun cams here captured him stopping me: -Access to file 1- The punk demanded from me 17 million credits unfortunately, as recorded here: -Access to file 2- What I found strange is one, and this is why I am addressing this comm to the Zoners, is that he is flying a Zoner "Corvo" class cruiser, as shown here: -Access to file 3- I would have thought ships of this class were exploration ships, not ships to be converted for pirating.

Secondly, if you notice in the previous images, he is broadcasting "Universal Shipping" authority. Curious. Third, he is affiliated and tagged as one of them Outcasts, as indicated here: -Access to File 4- Luckily, made off without losing my cargo, and from what I later heard, the Liberty Navy delivered a deadly blow to his ship.

Regardless, I know we will be looking into this further, but it's something I thought I would pass along to all of you, since this is on your and our doorstep. We know the Outcasts are... unique, but this is something truly strange and worrisome to see, even for the likes of us movers. Please let us know what you make of all this.

Safe flying,
Lou Marcus

Lou,

From the Zoner side, we can totally understand yer puzzlement. Safe to say though, you weren't hallucinating, we've had multiple reports about this joker and you have my reassurances that the Zoners will be taking steps to rectify the situation by demobilizing the pilot and repatriating the stolen ship, soonest.

Any uninsured losses?... Please let me know and I'll crank open my wallet for ya.....

Hail Eris!

Evenin' John,

I appreciate the fast response! Glad to know I wasn't seeing things. But, as you said, was quite puzzled! I, and the rest of the movers, greatly appreciate your assurances that you will be handling the situation. I know that we enjoy working with you lot, and have some great dealing with the TAZ. Just a shame to see such fine vessels in the hands of scum like them, especially when it makes it hard to differentiate between friend and foe. Please do let us know when you demobilize his ship, and I'll make sure to buy a round for all involved!

As for uninsured losses, just the 17 million was lost. But, I don't expect ya to cover that all. Not going to deny it either! Pirating comes with the game lad, and we usually always carry a cushion of our own money to pay them off. Granted, this was a tad more than usual. Greedy pirates. Bah, anyway, feel free to look me up and we can grab a drink sometime!

Safe flying,
Lou Marcus

Thank you for your communication (copy attached) of todays date. We have checked the Trenton Outpost Registery and Identified the Universal transpoder unit in the vessel ""Ka-Bar"" as having once belonged to [*USI*]Santander[T] a CT-69 "Crane" Civilian Large Train. The [*USI*]Santander[T] was last heard from upon jumping to Cortez six months ago and was lost with all hands. The attackers were never identified as no remains were found for analysis. Thank you again for shedding light on this matter. We, of course, are desirous of the destruction of the afore mentioned transponder and will place a bounty on it forthwith.

Yours Denny Crane

This clown again? [color=#FF4500]*laughs*, this is precisely why we try to enforce our technology to zoners only, I have the previous report on this little pest but so far no steps have been taken to capture this wolf. I've made it clear to my subordinates that this clown will not be granted access to any Alliance bases and if encountered he will be deported with or without force that is, without the precious zoner research vessel. Mr.John made this very clear and I hope the other individual zoners will condem this ( though only few of us are willing to get our hands dirty ). If theres time, I will personal visit that sector.
