Biography: Born to the actuaries Jannet and Stephen Tomson, Peter grew up living a life that while relatively dull, was better off than most. For schooling, Peter attended Tribeca Prep, where he found his love for economics. He then went on to attend Manhattan University where he received his degree in business administration. Along the way, he often studied and wrote on the economic state of liberty, and came to the realization that Liberty’s working class, and in turn its overall economy did best when outside trade was kept to a minimum. Sure, it meant that goods weren’t the cheapest, but it ensured that almost every Libertonian had a job, and as a result, could buy goods and drive the Libertonian Economy forward. The best examples of this being times of war, when not only trade was limited, but demand was also bolstered by Liberty’s military-industrial complex, leading to him believing that war was not only beneficial for the working class, but necessary for Liberty to thrive. These economic theories of his drove him to be the man he is today: a staunch nationalist and war hawk.

Upon graduation from Manhattan University, Peter created a private security force, providing fighter escorts to shipping companies for profit. This continued for five years before he received an offer to sell the company for a great deal of credits. As he thought the offer was an over-value, he chose not to look the gift horse in the mouth and accepted the offer quickly, and took a long overdue vacation on Curacao.

Peter however still lusted for credits and found himself back to work, this time doing security for Universal Shipping, first by flying as an escort, and soon moving to management positions due to his extensive history and talent. Tomson quickly made his way to the position of Chief of Security, where he soon found that he had the power to enact his economic policy by simply stating something along the lines of “This contract that takes us to Kusari is too dangerous to be profitable.”

Opportunity continued to present itself with the opening of the position of CEO, which Peter quickly pounced upon. From there, he directed the company in a new direction, that while still completed contracts outside of liberty, also dug up old shady contacts with the intention of making his ideal Liberty a reality.

Born on Planet Los Angeles, Shane learned to pilot large craft from his father at a relatively young age, but didn't begin to take his career choices seriously until he got married and discovered his then-girlfriend was pregnant.

So, he tied the knot, and, after spending a good deal of time chasing contracts and searching for work as a freelance transport/escort pilot, he finally began working as an unofficial Universal Shipping owner/operator. Shane quickly grew to enjoy being a part of USI's trade convoys, and soon began flying alongside USI employees regularly; he was hired into the Department of Trade soon after.

Over time, his skills were utilized more and more within the Department of Security, and he steadily climbed through the ranks until he was appointed CSO following the former CSO's formal resignation.

Shane led several paramilitary operations against Rheinland-affiliated factions during his tenure as CSO in support of Liberty Naval forces, which didn't gain him any friends in Rheinland.

It was only a matter of time before the price on his head grew large enough for action to be taken against him.

Shane's battle-worn Wasupu's communications system was electronically hijacked by an unknown party, and he received a fake distress call from the California system which appeared to be from his father. Unable to call for support, he investigated the distress call alone; he was ambushed, his ship destroyed, and he was taken into custody.

Shane was interrogated by members of the Red Hessians regarding the Department of Security's plans for further paramilitary operations, the nature of their alliance with the Liberty Navy, and the strength of the DOS fleet. He revealed enough information to avoid an untimely death, but never enough for the Rheinlanders to gain any useful advantage. Once they learned that USI had appointed a new CSO and that DOS tactics were seen to have changed, Shane was relocated to an unregistered prison. He was not allowed to contact anyone for the duration of his stay.

Years later, following a period of destabilization in which Rheinland destroyed the Bering and Hudson Jumpgates leading into Hamburg, the prison was attacked by Rheinland Military units. Shane was able to escape captivity and carefully made his way back home as a refugee.

After being reunited with his family and spending some time recuperating from his time in captivity, Shane has begun trying to get his life back on track, to achieve a sense of normalcy if nothing else.

After his parents were taken from him during the war, Lloyd was left with only his older brother to look after them. They lived on Manhattan for 17 years until his brother had gathered enough money to buy a beat up Hegemon asteroid miner, which they had kept using for nearly 8 years together, mining helium in Pennsylvania. Lloyd decided to get his own permits and went in search of work. Working as a freelancer for a while, he grew tired of the endless searching for only a handful of credits, so he decided to look for even better work at a big corporation.

Lloyd joined USI and recently worked his way up from the Trainee rank all the way to Acting Director of the Department of Internal Affairs. He can still be seen piloting a Bison from time to time, as he can't stand not being able to get in space as much as he used to. He makes any excuse he can to get in the pilot seat. Either that or he's the only one willing to get the job done.

Never having much experience with any pirates, Lloyd was always lucky that they didn't take his arrogance as a threat. He tends to spew one liners about how time wasting is not an option in dangerous situations. Lady luck follows him closely each time.

ANDREW WALTER, who was last seen in the New York system in 827AS, is alleged to have secretly joined the Xenos, of which there is little evidence. An anonymous source has reported that he was killed in a firefight with Junkers during his time with the Xeno organisation. His ship, the USI Salt Lake has also gone missing and is presumed to have fallen into the hands of the Xenos.

Biography: Thomas was born in 788 A.S. to a middle-class family of Cyrer Pharmaceutical professionals. Shortly after completing his studies in Commerce & Logistics, he set out to make a name for himself. Not wanting to be restricted to an office planetside doing paperwork and preferring to be in the thick of things, he decided to relocate to Manhattan and start his own small logisitics enterprise as a contractor for major shipping and mining companies in Liberty and eventually taking jobs as far out as Bretonia and the Omegas and in turn gaining quit the experience in negotiating contracts and dealing with various stakeholders. For the last few years of his career as a third party contractor, he became quite involved with Universal Shipping Incorporated, completing assignments to Kusari and Bretonia. Pleased with the professionalism and work ethic of the USI management and transport captains and seeing the potential, he decided to secure a position for himself there. Displaying a strong work ethic, he soon found himself rising through the ranks rather quickly and ending up in an executive role. Thomas' experience as both an experienced and seasoned transport captain and manager have been paramount to USI's recent operations throughout Liberty and beyond. He is usually the first point of contact in negotiating multimillion dollar contracts with various stakeholders.

Biography: There is a bit to know about me and a lot has happened since getting hired with USI. Growing up on the dirt ridden Planet Houston guess you can say I was a cowgirl of sorts. My teen years where interesting to say though I wont go into detail. Lets go ahead to working with my father. My father was my hero a true inspiration any daughter could want from there father. Beyond the love my father had he was the hardest on my path in life showing me the trade of being an independent merchant in the vastness of Sirius. His focus has gotten me to where I am today but well get to that. When I turned 25 I applied to work for Universal Shipping Inc in a goal to start a great career and show my father his hard work had paid off. After just months as a recruit I was transferred to the USI Security Division. The reason I moved the leaders said I had something the security departments needed and that something is leadership. I didn't deny there request since I wanted to work my way up the chain. Since my transfer I worked my way up through the ranks all the way to Senior Security Officer until drastically my father became extremely ill. I took time off to take care of him which turned into almost a year of leave which I then decided to quit USI for the time being and was glad to hear the company said they would hire me back when I was ready. Three years have passed since that day and only 2 months ago my father has passed. Ready to get back to work I was sent directly to the President of USI a great honor it was and amazingly enough he offered me the position of Chief Security Officer. A surprise but I didn't skip a beat at accepting his offer. Which leads me here to this present day the other officers are new faces since I was here last but I'm hoping to earn there trust.

Biography: Nicole was born in November 794 A.S. to a wealthy family with roots from Bretonia. Her father, Edward Burton, works in a senior position in the banking sector. Nicole has a younger sister named Julia.

At the age of 3, the family moved to Planet Los Angeles because of Mr Burton's work and remained there virtually most of her young life, until she was 17 completing her last year of high school on Manhattan. Nicole attended exclusively private schools and based on collected information she appears to have lived a life of virtually no hardship.

Having collected high grades from her high school on Manhattan she was accepted in Saint Paul's University. In 815 A.S. she received a Bachelor's Degree on Inter-House Trade but with average grades which were enough to start working for the King of Freight. Two years later KoF merged with *USI* but preserved her position as Manager in the Trade Department. During her time Ms Burton designed new shipping routes placing emphasis on high profit, regardless of risks or other hazards. Some of these routes are still in use today.

In 818 A.S. she completed her Master's from Berkeley University on Cargo Risk & Insurance with average grades again. Soon afterwards she quited her job in Universal and started working for the primary branch of Interspace Commerce. It is suspected that her father may have helped her with her recruitment to IC|. Furthermore, in her application she mentions that she did so because of larger salary and bonuses and the opportunity to pay off her student debts. While it is true that her salary (including the bonuses) were much higher than those she received in USI, it is doubtful that she worried for her student debts considering her family's wealthy background.

During her time in Interspace Commerce Ms Burton was primarily sent to work for the PR department, despite her expertise on insurance. Most of her important friends and contacts she made come from this time. After Interspace Ms Burton started working for Ageira Technologies. Due to the secretive nature of Ageira| there are few records we can find about her time in there. We know that she worked as a Manager in the Trade Department of Ageira Technologies and was responsible for negotiating contracts and supplying foreign Houses with Jump Gate and Trade Lane parts. According to her biography she quited the company because of lack of privacy. While this is indeed true and Ageira heavily monitors their employees, we cannot verify if that was the reason for her departure. In any case we have verified she is neither watched by Ageira for defection to the Lane Hackers nor there is any indication she might even be remotely sympathetic to their cause.

Background checks have revealed no possible conflict of interests, no indication she might be secretly working for a competitor or criminal record. Her current marital status is unmarried.
