"/givestuff" - allows equipment transfer - Maddox - 05-14-2013

Hi.

What with multi-boxing now unavailable, transferring cargo and equipment has become a pita. For those of us who generally only get to play when the server is sparsely populated, it's nigh on impossible.

Would it be possible to have a "/givestuff" command, which would allow this.

It could, on the surface, work in a similar way to pimpship, ie:

1) When docked, type "/givestuff <charname>". This would bring up a list of all unmounted kit and cargo in the hold.

2) Make your selections.

3) type "/done".

That's it. There could even be a "/set movestuffcode" which would allow stuff to be taken from ships.

Whaddya reckon?

Cheers.

Before anyone says against it, I remind you that this is being done all the time in Connecticut. Just let people do it properly, if they need guns and such. Setting up characters should not be a science project.

No cargo. Also, perhaps no code weapons.

I greatly support this idea, I'm just not sure if it's possible

No ammunition would be a stipulation too.

I like the idea, not sure what it would take to accomplish though

Since you can't log with 2 chars from the same computer, conn can be -and most of the time it is- a pain in the ass indeed.
So yea. +1 for the idea. Tho I'm 99% sure it won't become real -as most of the useful ideas coming from these brainstormings-.
