Mining Into Transports - Bob_Chickman - 05-26-2013
I've started mining again for the first time in a while and pretty sure I understand the bonuses and such. I was mining in Dublin for Gold Ore with a BMM ID and IFF. But when I mine, even with the transport selected, it won't mine into the transport. It just stays in the cargo hold of the miner.
Any thoughts as to what's wrong here?

Are you using Mining Turrets?

T-282-F 'Garanchou' Freighter
The Gold Ore field behind the New London jump gate in Dublin.
With 4 Miner Turrets, a BMM ID and IFF.
The drops are good, and often, so I know the bonuses are working, even if using the Garanchou takes a bit of the bonus down, the problem is It just won't mine into the selected transport.

Bingo. Granachou cannot be used for mining gold ore I think...
Get a Scraper, Surveyor or Hegemon instead.
