Greetings to whoever may receive this, I'm Lena Atzenbruck, current acting CEO of ALG Waste Disposal.
We've enjoyed a pleasant neighborly relation in Sigma-13 so far, as well as a good business relationship with occasional gas shipments from Okinawa.
Anyways, I come to you today with a request.
I'd like to expand our fleet with a bit more variety and for that purpose, would like to purchase a handful of your fine ships for our R&D division.
Upon successful testing, we may purchase a larger amount, if you agree to the whole thing that is.
Specifically, we wish to buy
1 "Karasu" type fighter
1 "Garanchou" type freighter
1 "Kujira" type transport
Additionally, we would like to test your weapons and for this purpose, would like to acquire 4 each of the Skyblast A and B models.
There are currently no plans to put either the ships or guns into active service, they will only be used for evaluation purposes. So you needn't be concerned about anyone being shot by GMG-made equipment or ships.
Needless to say, you will be paid accordingly. We can offer credits of course, but also materials of nearly any conceivable type due to our wide-ranging contacts, should you require them for construction.
Thank you for your time and kind regards, Lena Atzenbruck
I hope this message reaches you in good health. I'd like to apologies for a seemingly late reply to your request, but I've not been able to read it but for a few moments ago. I'd like to blame this delay in communications on ion storms.
Now, onto business.
While I'd certainly like to be of assistance to your R&D division, I regretfully have to inform you that we cannot comply with all of your requests. Our fighter class Karasu carries technology that we're not willing to share, less so part with. The same goes for some systems installed on our Garanchou and Kujira class vessels. I can however, offer you a lend-lease contract for "dumbed down" versions of the requested ship classes. If this deal is satisfactory, please have your concerned department forward the total sum of 30.000.000 credits to our account: GMG|Banku
ALG-GMG Lend-Lease Contract Wrote:Technology to be leased (until recalled or freely returned to owner (GMG)):
1 "Karasu" type fighter with Skyblast weaponry - 5.000.000 Credits
1 "Garanchou" type freighter with Skyblast weaponry - 5.000.000 Credits
1 "Kujira" type transport - 20.000.000 Credits
Upon a successful transaction, we'll have a stripped Garanchou and Karasu ready for you at the Fujisawa Mining Facility in Okinawa, while the Kujira class will be moored at Aomori Station in Honshu, all waiting for your pilots.
You're free to purchase any sets of Skyblasts for the vessels at Fujisawa, as long as they remain mounted on the belonging ships.
I'm pleased to announce that this deal has been concluded in a satisfactory manner.
We understand your hesitation to offer fully outfitted, top-of-the-line GMG vessels, and we are happy to accept the stripped down version.
The requested fee has been transferred from our bank; evidence of the transaction can be found here.
Picking up the ships went smoothly, and we were able to run some rudimentary tests.
Of course the incomplete state of the ships renders them mostly useless at this stage, but we are not inexperienced in building and maintaining ships, so I'm sure our engineering department can come up with alternative powerplant solutions.
Getting the new ships together was quite the occasion....in fact, our retired former president, Nelly Sachs, was there to pilot the Kujira.
The vessels have been dubbed as follows:
[ALG]-RD-Jaeger.1 - Karasu
[ALG]-RD-Danzig - Garanchou
[ALG]-RD-Tsingtau - Kujira
We will, of course, keep you updated on the status of these vessels. They are still stricty in the testing phase; once this is complete we hope to, with your permission, remove their RD tags and add them to our primary fleet.
We thank you kindly for this opportunity. Hopefully it will be just the start of closer cooperation.
