Nowhere does the Crayterian talent for organization show itself so clearly as in its army and the story is an extensive one.
The Crayterian Armed Forces is divided into Crayterian Fleet and Crayterian Planetary Forces, composed of Crayterian Ground Forces with it’s divisions and Atmosphere Defense.
The main resource for the Armed Forces are the Crayterian Citizens and Residents with Mercenary Forces organized as Shock Troops.
The length of the contract with the government is from six to twenty years (16 years full service, 4 years on lighter duties) for professional soldiers , while in case of necessity , the State can call to arms all citizens and residents aged between 18 to 40 years old which they serve until the state of necessity had passed.
In her history , the Crayterian Planetary Forces have been reformed several times but at the moment the army is formed of 28 divisions for the Ground Forces and 11 Air Squadrons.
The Crayterian Ground Forces (CGF)consists of 28 divisions. While the army retains the former Sol names , the organization structure was based on the ancient Roman Army , which was one of the best organized armed forces at the time.
A Crayterian Division is formed of 8000 soldiers with 120-150 officers.

*Note: The armored division is counted in armored vehicles which is around 300 vehicles per division.
Armored Infantry Troops (AIT)are the main service in the Crayterian Ground Forces.
The main signature for this service is their Power Suits , which transforms a simple human into a superhuman and they are deployed using Fleet vessels or aboard the ships from Ares Logistics.
The Suit is split in two , Inner suit and Power Suit.
The Inner Suit is a "Muscle suit" which provide a trooper with extra muscle power. It’s mesh is actually a net of nanobots which are designed to accept only one wearer , in case the DNA does not match , the suit will self destruct. The mesh of Nanos are blending with the skin of the soldier and after a few minutes it's merging with the muscles mass , enhancing and thus giving increased power and strength.
The Power suit , is the armor of the soldier. Body armor
There are several hardpoints on the armor, allowing it able to be attached with various optional equipment and weapons, such as a small missile launcher or a combat knife.Weapons can be place on the rack on the back. Also, each armor is equipped with magnetic stabilizer under the feet.Two jump jets are mounted in the lower back of the armor. They will open when in use.There is a marker light on the chest.
Helmet
Each helmet has a searchlight mount on its left and a infrared camera on the right side. There are four camera-eyes on the visor that provide the image of outside, displayed on the other side of the visor. There is a HUD system inside the helmet.
Periscope
A periscope is attached over the left audio sensor of the Helmet and activated by raising one's eyebrows in a quick, tight expression, this thin visual stalk raises to a height of two feet, allowing a trooper to see over the walls of a fortification.
Communicator
A communicator is built into the Helmet and the back plate of the suit, it is a high-band communications rig with an effective vertical range of high orbit and a horizontal range of five miles. This communications gear has three channels, each of which can be set on the fly or pre-programmed before a mission. Enviromentally sealed bodysuit
There is no way for gases, liquids or other contaminants to get to a trooper inside a power suit without it being damaged beforehand. Sealed suits also protect a wearer from harmful atmospheres and vacuum. The power suit can also sustain a considerable amount of electrical current and heat/cold levels.
Air supply
A reserve air supply is built into the chest plate of a power suit. This extends the eight hour supply in the trooper's armor to nine hours before becoming exhausted. This reserve unit replenishes itself naturally over the course of 24 hours in an oxygen rich atmosphere. With the right equipment it can also be replenished in the field.
The Signature hand weapon is the Purifier series.
The weapon was designed to be easy to use. It uses explosive rounds which are capable to penetrate the toughest armour.
There are four models of this gun, with the most common one been the MK1, carbine version which is having a hardpoint to attach for any short lived energy beam.
The second model, the MKII is the sniper version of the carbine , which use a different calibre , .338 rounds on a automated loading , thus ensuring the soldier a capacity to fire a full clip in a matter of seconds.
The third model , theMKIII is used by demolition crew as it features a grenade launcher besides the normal hardpoint for the short lived energy beam. The weapon is heavy and looks bulky , however her capacity for destruction is immense.
The MKIVmodel is firing the .338 rounds on a faster rate then the sniper. While the speed is increased , the sight had to be dropped and replaced by additional cooling mechanisms. The weapon recoil however is unbearable for a person not in a power suit.
Armored Units – Armored units were created as there is a need for planetary assault or any heavy assault on a specific target.
The Crayterian Ground Forces uses several types of armored units:
HU-34 “Impaler”
Is one of the two models of hover tank that the CGF uses. It is designed with a long range gun , capable of bombarding a target from 3 miles with plasma rounds.
The "Impaler" is also designed with one machinegun for close combat. The armor is thick and with the complement of plasma , this tank can only take aboard his crew of 4 soldiers.
The Hover propulsion makes this tank to beused also on water in case of needs , thus replenishing the obsolete navy.
The state of the art equipment and sensor , along with targeting systems , makes this tank one of the first choice to be called when in need been used as artillery unit or as heavy ground interceptor.
SHU-445B “Ivan”
Is a tank that uses a more archaic way of movement , based on tracks.
The choice of tracked propulsion was made when several hover tanks were malfunctioning or they were taking damage , thus been unable to maintain the hover capacity. “Ivan” was intended to be the equivalent of ancient battleships , to take a great number of hits and still been able to fight and to manoeuvre.
The main gun is a cannon that fires kinetic projectile , various types , making it one of the most versatile fighting machine.
Thick armour and individual shielding capacity , extra protection in the front and sides of the tracks creates a monster on the battlefield.
“Ivan” seems sloppy and slow , but is able to catch amazing speeds of 100 miles per hour which is augmented by state of the art guidance , targeting and also a personal AI unit and can have a complement of 6 soldiers.
RRI-13D “Cheetah” – Rapid and Response Interceptor
The Rapid and Response Interceptor is used by the Police service of the Ground Forces.
The “Cheetah” is capable of catching phenomenal speeds on clear land , reaching 140 kph , almost the speed of “Eros”, thus making this vehicle the number one choice when it comes to enforcing the law or patrol duties.
The vehicle lacks any weaponry at all , but it equipped with top of the art sensor and tracking systems , communications and integrated AI systems.
“Cheetah” can accommodate only 2 soldiers.
RRI-19D “Wormtail”
Rapid and Response Interceptor “Wormtail”is used by Police branch in the Ground Forces.
The unit is capable of moderate speeds , powered by ECH-887 engine, reaching 100kph and is heavy armored.
The Interceptor is having one heavy gun , a plasma launcher which can be used effectively in a range of 2.5 miles range.
"Wormtail"was designed to be a trooper carrier , capable to carry 7 soldiers in full battle gear and having a complement of 2 soldier in the front seats.
As the other interceptor , “Wormtail” is having top of the art sensor and tracking systems , communications and integrated AI systems along with targeting systems.
HU-94 “Destroyer”
The “Destroyer” is a heavy hover tank , designed for urban combat and also on open field.
Thinking of the need to operate a tank in an urban environment , the Crayterian engineers gave the “Destroyer” a small chassis so that can be maneuvered easily.
The name “Destroyer” came from his capacity for destruction, having as main gun a Kinetic gun , model 228 , two rocket launchers , two plasma cannons and 2 machine guns. However , the “Destroyer” is having one dead spot , his back , where he is not having any gun installed, which forces the “Destroyer” to work in pairs.
The crew complement is only 2 , been helped by an interactive AI unit.
Atmosphere Defense (AD)
The atmosphere defense is split in two service branches , the static and mobile defense.
The mobile defence is formed of squadrons of Eros and Nyx fighters complemented with Pytho , divided into 11 Squadrons across Yuma.
EVO 3A Eros - Interceptor
This light fighter is a modernized version of the first atmospheric combat ship build by the Colonials in the Crayter sector. Many of its base elements can be found in the Nyx, due to it being the base prototype and the first ship used by the new and young Republic.
EVO 2B Nyx - Colonial Space Superiority Fighter
Built upon the experience gained by years of Colonial shipbuilding, the Nyx class is the most advanced Fighter type available in the Republic. The lessons learned from the Eros class light Fighter design as well as the study of hostile flight tactics have been combined to a deadly weapon. Its unmatched speed and unrelenting brutality as well as the simple maintenance make this vessel the Colonial fleets standard fighter.
EVO B12 Pytho - Colonial Strike Bomber
The pearl of Colonial engineering, the Pytho is the most powerful small ship the fleet can offer. Having the Nyx fighter at its roots, this ship received a bigger powerplant and more powerful weapons in an attempt to fight back the Outcast and Gallic capital ships. The small front and side profiles make this bomber one of the best assault weapons the Republic knows.
The Squadrons are placed among the artificial islands of Yuma , with hangars been underwater.
The AD Squadrons are never to leave the lower orbit of planet Yuma and they have in total a grand total of 6000 ships.
The static defence is coordinated by theCommand and Control of Air Defence (CCAD) on island of New Ares and it controls the following :
AA-33 “Old Man”-
The “Old Man” was designed to be easy to move while to have enough firepower to take out any hostile aircraft in the lower atmosphere. The unit is equipped with 3 missile launchers which are armed with heat seeker missile.
The information , locking on and firing is done remotely from the CCAD.
AA-112 “Avenger”
"Avenger" is a triple plasma gun unit , capable to initiate a barrage due to his rapid refire rate.
As all static defense units , the commands are given from the CCAD.
Crayterian Police Force was first formed in Tau 44 , to police and enforce the law in the growing Crayterian civilian population.
The Force is constituted as a body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the Law , protect the property and the civilians and to limit civil disorder. Their powers include the use of lethal force.
Unlike the military , the Police officers are not used in direct combat, with the exception of self defense if it comes under attack from a foreign power.
Crayterian Police Force is organized and funded by the government and is set to excel in standards in professional development, including codes of practice and regulations, to ensure consistency in appliance of Crayterian Laws in the colonies of Crayter Republic.
The training for Police and Security Officers is done at theBlack Jaguar Police Academy on New Thessalonica based on voluntary enlistment and on a service in the Force for 20 years.
The support roles employed by the police service play a vital role* in ensuring the service in the communities runs efficiently and effectively, working in partnership with the CIS.
There are different job roles that the 56,000 officers have in the Crayter Republic.
*Note: In the Crayter Republic the Ground Forces can be seen also policing the Republic along with the Force.
Traffic Officer
A traffic officer is concerned with all aspects of road safety, while still getting involved in policing all kinds of non-traffic incidents. The work of traffic officers is much more complex having to deal with road pile-ups and road accidents ,checking that vehicles on the road conform to the legal safety requirements, dealing with motoring offences, such as speeding, breath testing procedures and dealing with drink driving offences, managing the traffic when the road is blocked by an incident or accident
The officers are lightly armed , relying on the Rapid and Response teams for support.
Rapid and Response Officer
The Rapid and Response Officer is one of the heavily armed Crayterian Police Officer.
The unit is the backbone of the Force , been used in all kind of operations like maintaining and restoring the public order, counter-terrorism activities, anti-drug operations, pursuing and apprehending fugitives and military deserters, security of sensitive installation, such as public institutions, spaceports , utilities and museums and national monuments.
The Force is responsible also with the Security aboard Crayterian Stations or Crayterian offices off-world.
Officers of the Rapid and Response Teams are usually working closely with the CIS , supporting the said officers in any of their en devours.
