Fort Ainoura Commences Training of new Naval Forces Recruits on Planet Junyo!
Junyo, Shikoku - 24.10.834
Fort Ainoura begins operation following grand opening ceremony
In pursuit of new training facilities for the next generations of Naval Forces Pilots, the Ministry of Defence in tight-knit cooperation with the Shogun long searched across Kusari space and worlds for a suitable place. After months, construction began for a planet side Fort around an Island Chain on Planet Junyo.
According to our insider sources, the Minister of Economy forced a deal with Samura Heavy Industries in an effort to battle the on-going employment crisis on the Planet following Samura's inability to service demand and plummeting the local food industry into a downwards spiral. As we have been told, Samura was not compensated for the construction of the Fort but received exclusive supply contracts for the next five years under the condition that all workers involved in the supply chain are Junyo residents formerly laid off by Samura Heavy Industries within the food industry sector.
Fort Ainoura's construction was finalized two weeks ago and whilst the Naval Forces remain tight-lipped about details, a spokesman ensured us that the Fort possesses the newest generation of security measures against both space and land operations potentially targeting the facility. The dispatchment of the venerable Myoko battlegroup to Junyo's orbit as part of the Fort's training program further highlights the Naval Forces commitment for a more efficient and tactically diverse education for the next generation of pilots.
Today, Fort Ainoura welcomes the first recruits, whilst yesterday evening the Fort was hosting executive staff of the Keiretsu, several Ministers and a handful of selected journalists to witness the grand opening speech held by Sato Oniji, Head of the Ainoura Training Squadron, Governor Shiraishi Mitsuaki of Shikoku and Prime Minister Sanae Miyasu as representative of our Imperial Majesty - who sadly could not attend due to an overlapping meeting scheduled with the Shogun.
We will spare you the details of this massive, four hours long event and will skip straight to the key take-aways:
The Forts administration and the battlegroups of the Nagasaki and Myoko respectively worked out plans for joint exercises and patrols.
The Fort welcomed well over three thousand fresh recruits on its first day, today!
Both the Imperial and Local Government stay committed to combating Planet Junyo's struggles beyond the scope of military training and basic alloy production facilities.
Stay tuned for more!
Yours truly, Kuno Chiyuki, NTT

I lived on Junyo for all my life, but when the work dried up I tried moving to New Tokyo. I got really sick but the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. Eventually it got so bad I had to return home for my family to look after me. Maybe Ojisan's soup was all it needed. I am too old to join the Marines. What work is there for me here now? Honorable Samura executives, I beg of you to return work to our world.
