Disconnecting in your miner in space when somebody is pirating you and then coming back in your mercenary is naughty. Mercenaries need to be contracted/paided by somebody to attack; they don't do it for free.

Then you still broke the rules and get punished for it.
Ask yourself the following question. If someone broke into your house and stole your TV, got jail time for it then upon release, you found where he lived, broke in to his house and hit him with a bat, would you get arrested and put on trial for assault?
If you had reported him with sufficient evidence for the violation you now accuse him of, then we would have punished you for the F1 and him for whatever he did wrong.
I just did report it here. Steamslug broke the RP rules and attacked a miner in tau23 without so much as a word. He knocked my char durnik out of cruise and brought me down to 1/2 hull before uttering a word. I can only hope he gets 100mil sanctions also because I would not have pursued him less he did me wrong. I'm not petty y I'm not one to run and cry to admin, esp if I was the one in the wrong first. If someone does me wrong you're dam right I'll get them back. But I just assume kill him and let it be 2 warriors met in space and its over with, but since this kid's gonna play bad politics then I suppose I will make an official complaint as well here and now.
Another ?, how official do these contracts have to be? I've taken several payments already to assist one faction or another in battles, and there's no official 'contract' in any forum about it. My character is a hired gun. Someone gives him cash he's going on the hunt or joining in the battle. That's just good RP. If ppl are in the middle of a fight do they have time to run to the forums and post a bid? I'm just saying cause it seems like pirates have a free reign and there's an over abundance of them because of it. Makes for pretty unrealistic RP if every noob goes rogue pirate just so they can shoot anyone they see and there's no reprocusions. Maybe its a oversight in the RP I dunno, but if 80% of the players are pirates, lol, ya there's something wrong. Wheres the merc clans? the anti pirates! I want JUSTICE!
1. Trial by forum is not permitted. Post your violation report in the violation reports sub-forum. You need to included evidence such as screenshots.
2. Two wrongs does not make a right.
3. When we processed the violation report against you, we thought that you broke a bunch of other rules but there wasn't sufficient evidence to be certain.
5. There are three major mercenary/bounting hunting factions on the server: The Reavers, The Mandalorians and the Bounty Hunters Guild. These factions are not anti-pirates. Various trading and mining faction arrange their own security or pay mercenaries to do it for them. These agreements are normally made in advance on the forum.
Be aware that we considered giving you a harsher sanction but the evidence wasn't quiet strong enough. I note that you've essentially admitted to what we thought happened.
Please comply with the bounty hunting requirements or bad things will happen.

i shall admitt that i was the one reporting you. You should almost be proud of yourself, since i never reports before it really pisses me off or are just plain horribly wrong and can't be dealt with over PM.
basically since you opened fire at my miner without notice, moving in to kill me for being in group with a guy who'm tried to pirate you. The same guy i paid some million to transport my ore.
"Assasination because im in group with your offender" = Report
