I fully support freighter/fighter missile turrets, ammo based or not.
I don't see Anything like that In my post, Maybe -You- think that way... But, the point is; Energy-Based Missiles which dont need Ammo? Never seen 6 Missile Sabres? Those who know how to use Missiles, will have the advantage of having unlimited "Perfect Hits", Nothing against them... But those who just turn and pew pew missiles...? At least right now, Those kind (A.k.a The Spammers) Run out of Ammo after a while and are sitting ducks after that, But Energy-Based Missiles? They'll just fly around and chainfire them for like... forever!
I didn't disagree with original Idea of the thread, which was Missile Turret for Fighters. But making them Energy-Based? No. Just No! I don't want to see every single lolwut flying Camaras and Dromedaries just because they can have unlimited spamissile launcher.
P.S: Remind me to throw Two 6 Missile Sabres on your ass in a Dog Fight and you'll see what I mean. (Believe me or not, That Actually happened to me once, its not a joke.)
missles 100% energie based... yes
turret missles for anything below a gunboat... nope...
but if it will implement in mod... my prisonliner will get 9 missle turrets:D
The fighter missiles are already very powerful against bomber and other fighters and all of the faction Class 9 guns have the similar version of the weapon in turret form so why do we even need Fighter missile turrets?
I don't think missiles should be energy based and infinite.
They just need better speed and tracking ability, because right now they are that slow you can thrust faster than a missile.

That's false, since your ships movement speed gets added onto the missiles movement speed when you fire it. If you're using thrusters, your missiles will gain +200 speed on them.
