Yes, I realize its a "Light" turret...However, does that have mean that its weaker than the smallest capital ships basic weaponry?
I suggest the following stats:
Light Corsair BATTLESHIP turret:
930 damage
5500 energy per shot
Everything else the same
Regular Corsair BATTLESHIP turret:
1050 damage
7200 energy per shot
everything else the same
Good? Yes? No? Not everything needs a nerf, you know..
Then we have two of the exact same turret, but one takes much less energy than the other.. Thats the problem right now.. 930 and 1,000 damage with 3,000 and 7,000 energy usage respectively. Your version still has the same problems. The Light one needs to actually be light.. If you don't like how its weaker but much more energy efficient, than use the normals.. I don't see the problem here.. You have two choices, low damage with excellent energy efficiency (can fire 16 and still GAIN energy..) or normal damage with normal energy efficiency?

How bout we nerf the damage of the Light Corsair a bit, but give it 5.0
So then we've got 4.0 Corsair turrets, competitive against other battleships, and 5.0 Light Corsair turrets, which do little damage against other battleships, but work great on fighters?
