I believe we have met at some point on the field of battle, perhaps aboard our respective command ships. Thankfully this will have been on the same side, as I was not personally on that front in the period our nations warred. However, that is far in the past and we have stood together for over a year against the encroaching Gallic invaders.
I previously met with Admiral Piett, who I have heard was given either a promotion or retirement depending on how you look at it. This agreement has served us well, but as you know, the war will change in the near future.
The continued evacuation efforts to Sprague, Gran Canaria and even some to Coronado suggests one thing that we likely both know: Leeds will fall.
We Colonials have some experience in this, as you most probably know of the Exodus from Tau-44.
Given our extended cooperation in this war, I propose we have some talks on how we move into the future. Do let me know if you agree.
For those we left behind, and with all due regards,
Commander Roger Anders

Commander Anders, good to hear from you again, I was beginning to suspect that Gallia had set up some communications blockade, or something more permanent happened to you.
Either way you're right in the presumption that Sir Piet is no longer Commanding the Armed Forces directly but over the Ministry of Defence.
The War will change, we're already changing our strategical Goals and Mission parameters in order to not be on the back foot.
Leeds itself won't fall, at least not anytime soon. We've got some ugly suprises ready for the Frogs when they land their troops.
But System Superiority will shift to their side, that is a given.
But let's leave the Ground War away for now, what interests me right now is the Situation in the Taus from your perspective.
The Admiralty has been planning for some scenarios with which your help would be dearly needed.

I'm glad to hear I have found the right officer. Neither the Gauls nor the Maltese have managed to put me out of action yet, although many have tried. Talks on this frequency should do well to formulate some plans.
I do apologise for the confusion, the planet and system sharing a name can *ahem* lead to that. Your plans do seem to match my own suggestions, similar tactics to our own with Sulawesi and Minato. I'll leave the ground war to the Armed Forces, space warfare is more our strength.
The Taus, currently, are as, if not more so, dangerous than ever. We continue our war against the Maltese and their unlawful associates alongside the Miners Guild; the Royal Navy still claims their territory and is harried to fine results where possible; their supply fleet is interdicted or destroyed where possible; last and least we have the occasional Kusarian patrol to prevent from getting in our way. We have the assistance of the Council, some mercenaries and other miscellaneous allies in some of these battles, but we appear to have taken a leading role in anti-Royalist operations in the Taus. If you have the resources, some flanking operations would be effective on your part; anything large-scale would need to have a base of its own to support their operations.
Closer to home, at least our current one, I am to have talks with the Liberty Navy regarding they, your and our shared border. While we have been protecting Cortez for the last year, we plan to extend operations into Magellan and Inverness. I would suggest some joint talk, likely including the IMG and OS&C as residents of those systems. Joint operational guidelines if the Gauls choose to use this flank would be beneficial.
As for your own home, New London and Newcastle will be the Royalists' next targets. Their respective Leeds gates would need to be heavily fortified to stave off a continued push. Our Military's 31st squadron and some of the Fleet is of course deployed in Leeds to assist, but I believe some shared training and even technology would be tactically advantageous both on the defensive and during operations in the Taus. If you agree with this sentiment, it can be further discussed at a further date.
Let me know if you have further suggestions or request, Admiral.
