I'd report such cases as "2. Discovery Freelancer 24/7 RP is a roleplaying server. Roleplaying is required while playing here. "

Can we apply that to traders being silent and ignoring pirate interaction on purpose, while posting paragraphs when sitting in front of Manhattan?

For real? I've seen it rp'd as hitting 'extra-heliospheric space' and that normal ships of sirius can't survive it. Is it really a bug? Couldn't they change it so you'd just bounce off instead of explode?
To be fair.... I don't think one can say that the pilot would know that he would explode.. So while it may be an exploit, I don't think it's oorp in the same way sun/planet diving is.

This is bad RP, as Sirians used their normal ships (read Mastodon infocard for example) for inter-system travels to discover new systems, and deliver the materials to build the jump gates.
So its more like an abuse of bug/system limitation. I think all kind of suicide is bad RP, as which ship captain would sacrifice himself and his entire crew to avoid paying a few million credits, especially when the cash is at his disposal? This goes against all sane logic.
