I'm quite new and have some questions. I'm going to buy cruiser and wondering which ID grants me more freedom. Now I'm thinking about 3: BIS, LSF and IMG.. Most of all BIS, but both LSF and IMG have battlecruisers, which is for me better idea.. And there are some questions: Do I get it right, that BIS and LSF can fly everywhere and attack every unlawfull they'd met? If yes: could they fly capships everywhere? Can they ally with any lawfull (ofc not at war with their house) against any unlawfull? All these answers appeared after reading theirs ID's..
If all answers are yes, it seems for me that they are better than IMG (if I'm wrong, please correct). So which one grants more freedom: BIS or LSF? And which one would you choose (and ofc why): Bretonian Cruiser or Liberty Battlecruiser?
*Edited* After reconsideration one more option: Rheinland cruiser with Marinenachrichtendienst (MND) ID.
Thanks in advance for answers.
*To Admins: If it's posted in wrong place, please move it to the proper one..
If that thing i made red is what you are going for... you would just be another LolNS cap.
On the other hand.. people already told you about the laws and such. So.. nothing more to add here
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
Quote:LN ID,it can " apply " the " law " in 2 houses (Liberty,Bretonia)
AFAIK, due to the Treaty of Curacao, Liberty cannot enforce Libertonian law in Bretonia. People in Bretonia can literally fly with 5 units of Cardi, Synth Marijuana or something like that and can't do a thing about it, as it is anything up to 5 units is legal in Bretonia.

LOL NS?
No matter, and don't worry: I won't be. I just wanna know the limitations of cruiser and its ID i intend to buy. Thanks for all answers. They've helped me a lot.
See You in space. Let that be some great RP encounters.

LolNS is a term the indie (or rarely faction) Liberty Navy players, who log onto their LN caps and gank every possible "threat" with overkilling it with capital ships. There's also a similiar term, which is "Lolberty Navy". LNS- is a prefix for every Liberty Navy capital ship, like Bretonia has HMS- and Rheinland has RNC-.

So for pirate hunting Core seems the best: they have battlecruiser, can fly nearly everywhere...But what if I have a bounty for someone in house space, ie. Liberty and go there with BHG Cruiser? Or when I'm escorting traders and be going through house space? Can I even escort traders with Capship? (yes, I know that many pirates use bombers :-) )
Bounty Hunter ID cannot have caps bigger than Gunboat - while Core ID can. Note that most of the Houses forbids cruisers and battleships in their space (except for invitations). Gunboat is the biggest (military) ship you can bring into House Space. You should be also aware about certain house laws.
e.g. It is illegal to possess The Order tech inside Liberty Space. AFAIK, Adapted Nomad tech is also out of question.
Correction, only Order ships are illegal in Liberty, their weapons are not. However their stuff is not illegel if flown by LSF who can use their stuff. Not to mention LSFC's can use Order cap weapons
I'd go with LSF only for their RP, other wise there is not many lawfuls that won't get blasted at a seconds notice from an enemy, the LSF however have plenty of RP, that or BDM. BDM actually can work with Order when their in Rheinland, offering some nice RP chances when they happen
