Well, theoreticaly, it would make sense. If Nomad + human = child AND this child is taken away by Nomads just to grow up and get infected in the future, it would increase the Wild numbers, at least infected people, Now lets say that Nomads have hijacked a transport and after some years this transport arrives somewhere full of infected people? They would normally leave it and infect people on planet or station. Just by building relationships, kindapping and infecting again. Well, I'm not sure if Nommies are clever enough to build something like this. But IF they do, it would have much higher success rate than normal assaults. All is about time and patience. On the other hand, infecting in vanila Freelancer must have worked like this. They didn't get numbers so fast, just by slowly taking control by governments and so on. Well if you ask me, an massive disaster in Sirius is what I'm looking for ^^
Maybe even not thanks to Nomads, maybe thanks to another civilization that we didn't find yet. It would be really awesome. Well, a lot of writing-up this, making models for 'new faction' and it could be done.
