The Resheph was designed before players even had access to cloaks. The fact that it has 4 CM launchers is likely originally intended for, gameplay wise, ensuring the Resheph can flee almost any engagement, especially given its title: Recon Cruiser.
Now granted, the Order is THE nomad hunting faction. That being said, a Cloak Disruptor seems more logical to mount over a cloaking device to ensure nomads are found/unable to flee via cloak.
Gameplay wise, I don't know if it's entirely fair if only *one* ship in the entire game has the capability to mount a cloak, disruptor, *and* CMs.
The point here, is that the Resheph's 4 CM slots were originally intended for CMs only. The fact that cloaks/disruptors exist, but the Resheph kept its 4 slots, is likely because the server prevents other multi-CM ships (Grizzly, Democritus) from using both a disruptor and a cloak, as well.
Well I can't keep in mind things that I didn't know, and neither can other people.
So for the sake of others, please at least make sure people are warned about this before they try to launch with both mounted.
As for the logic of the Resheph RECONNAISSANCE cruiser not being able to use both and being a counter-balance for nomad permacloaks, I know this place well enough to think that a reasonable discussion can be had about it and I'm not in the mood to try anyway right now.
So whatever, I'll just sell it again. It's not like its likely that I'll ever use both with present player numbers anyway.
