It's been a while, John. I hope you're doing alright, as well as the Amenhotep. Sirius hasn't been kind to me lately, so I'm hoping it hasn't been the same for you.
I wanted to know exactly where you stand with the Overwatch. Given all that's happened out there in Delta, I'm having ideas about why they're focusing on their ridiculous aspect of laws instead of fighting the real threat. Telling them straight up didn't seem to give me any real sign of life from them, so either they're ignoring me or they're preoccupied with their campaign against the citizens of the Omicrons.
With all that's happened, there's a good likelihood that they're not what even they think they are, and I'll be damned if the Nomads have turned our own people against us.
Vex, it is interesting to see a communique from you... Here I thought you still hated me. In all honesty I am not doing so well. With no reasoning 5th| High Command sent me an official memo (attached below) stating that I am discharged from the Naval Forces. Then I sent out a transmission to First Liberty Naval Fleet and was met with utter silence. I find it quite odd that Liberty would opt in abandoning one of its most powerful ships in its arsenal. It is my belief that someone high up in the Liberty Navy is infected and I with such a large background of Nomadic eradication, research, and outright hate for them, they didn't want to be compromised.
So now I am here left on my ass with an Osiris that will need a port and maintenance soon. With that I have re-focused the Amenhotep on destroying the Nomads and those who would seek to gain from their influence.
Former Commodore Jonathan Kalh is hereby officially DISCHARGED from the Fifth Fleet. I don't trust someone who betrayed his own people and magically thinks about protecting Liberty with an Order Warship. Remove the Fifth Fleet transponder from the Amenhotep and your other ships. For more information, please contact the High Command.

Sad to hear Liberty's let you go. Given how you came to be with them, though, I can somewhat understand their mistrust, but given the situation as well, I don't fully understand it either. If they are compromised, then it's just another reason to get down to work and find out what's really going on in the Colonies again.
I've been holing up with Leviathan and the rest of Auxo in Inverness, along with Nodoka and her.. let's call it a 'possie', since I honestly don't know what they are anymore. So far it seems that with everything going the way it is, I'm fairly certain the Overwatch has been compromised, judging by the actions 'lanski is taking, and given how he's just annihilated another modular outpost in Delta, it's only certifying my belief. Question I'm looking for now is who exactly can we use to crack that proverbial walnut and get at some answers, whether 'lanski's just a frickin' loon or if he actually is swimming in jelly fluid.
Could be either, and neither soothes my joints.
I've also been trying to look into a local 'resistance group' called Harmony, and while I've yet to actually encounter any ships, I've heard from two sides of the coin, but not so much in the way of detail. You've been with Liberty, and I'm betting you've operated against them before. Any idea what they intend to do, or if they can somehow be guided to lean more towards the bigger picture? Any help against 'lanski will be more than before, and since I've only got Nodoka, Auxo and the Core backing me, more friends aren't going to be neglected.
And, for the record, I never really 'hated' you, more that I just didn't trust you. Seeing a rebel Osiris out and about in the Colonies flying a naval tag only seemed like it was just a guy wanting to bling out the Liberty Navy from where I was standing. However, since I am out here now.. 'blinging-up-the-colonies' with the Ahkmim, it'd be just hypocritical then. Hope it hasn't soured things, and with the possibility that the squids are alienating (ha) people like you in the same way the Overwatch is alienating (haha) people out there, I'm of a mind that we can try and see those bastards back home the errors they've made.
No hard feelings?
Vex, I have been on the other side of Harmony's weapons. They are separatist who got into a squabble with LSF if I remember correctly. I dont know their mission parameters but If you are daring, I do know they operate in Bering, tho not sure where. I'd try and take something less... "valuable" if you where going to fly there. Tho traversing to Bering would be dangerous as Liberty can pose a huge threat. I am sure you can find a way without hurting yourself to get in contact with them.
As for the Auxesians I met with Leviathan earlier tho with no mention of you or Nodoka. We where pressed for time so I am sure it slipped his mind. How long do you plan on staying in Inverness?

I'll see about taking my fighter to Bering to look around for them, then. Hopefully they're motives are better than the example I keep hear about.
As for how long, I'll probably be following Nodoka if I can help it, since she's said she basically lives here now. Only good thing that ever happened from 'lanski's retardation is our friendship, and given the lunatic's got forces that can literally come out of the rocks, I figured best it be that I keep close, or who knows what could happen.
Vex, The Amenhotep is in the Cortez System, I cant risk being seen outside the Osiris due to obvious reasons or I would join you on my Bastet. Should you need help, I have jump coordinates near Bering and could assist you should the need arise.
