Hammersee aluminium production back up.
Succesful prisoner transfer to Hammersee!: Great news for Rheinland and Gallia! The Kaiserliche Polizei of Rheinland has just worked out a deal with the Gallic Gendarmerie to start a prisoner labor exchange. This move aims to ramp up aluminum production at the Hammersee penal colony, especially after recent anti-piracy efforts in the Lüneburg system left us with fewer workers.
Oberrätin Renate Bommel, an officer with the Rheinland police, reached out to Gallic officials, stressing how urgent the situation is. “We’ve really lost a lot of our workforce, and we’re looking to bring in around 10,000 prisoners from Gallia to help us in the mines,” she said. In return, Rheinland is offering 100,000 units of aluminum to Amiens, which is struggling with rising sea levels. They also asked for a Gallic liner to transport the prisoners—a request that raised some eyebrows because of how fancy that ship is.
Marshal Corentin Auch from the Gallic Gendarmerie was receptive to the idea, mentioning that their prisons are overflowing with inmates who aren’t fit for reintegration. “We need to be careful about who we release for this program,” he noted, emphasizing that the selection process will be thorough to ensure everyone’s safety.
After some back-and-forth, they decided that only prisoners of Sirian origin would be part of this exchange, with a focus on those from Rheinland. Auch also granted Rheinland permission to handle the transport, giving them some leeway with local laws during the exchange. This agreement was a smart way to address labor shortages and crime on both sides while strengthening ties, especially with ongoing threats from terrorist groups like the Hessians and Bundschuh.
Oberrätin Bommel was pleased with the outcome, highlighting how crucial it is to work together with their Gallic counterparts to keep our trade routes safe. “The Rheinland Polizei will take all necessary steps to ensure our communities stay secure and orderly,” she said.
As they gear up for the transport, this agreement marks a big step forward in collaborating on crime and boosting economic productivity in the region. Both sides are ready to tackle any security challenges that may come up from this exchange, showing their commitment to working together for a better future.
Of course the great Gallic nation will help its fraternal nation in the Sirius sector! This is yet another step toward reaching the greatness our two Houses are destined for.
