I received a letter today from the Vice President of Sales from one of the Culinary Distributing companies on Crete:

My customers are sick and tired of the Food brought by Zoners from their Freeports. We don’t know what kind “bio-domes” you have there but their food is stale and tasteless to say the least. Are you bringing us the left over stuff by chance?
I won’t stand for it, sir. My colleagues are suggesting that from now on you deliver only the fine food products grown on Gran Canaria, a most luscious planet with very fertile soil. Doc Holiday tells me that his farm grows some of the best produce he has had the pleasure of eating. Why can’t my customers get the same quality products? I ask that the Zoners Consortium start to fulfill these wishes or else I’m afraid that Hogosha and Farmer’s Alliance will stomp you out in the Market. Their products are rated on a much higher scale of quality while maintaining reasonable prices.
Bring us food grown in a real farm, cultivated by real soil, and preferably from Corsair farmers of the Enclave. While Zoner economy is booming, we are trying to support ours. Importing produce grown by Corsair farms on Gran Canaria will also give us that boost.

I have received multiple confirmations from my associates at the ZTC to deliver food shipments from Gran Canaria only. The prices will be slightly higher, but you cannot beat the quality. As always, we will continue to donate the profits made from our Food sales for half of the deliveries we make each week, as we always have. Additionally, 60% of our exports will be purchased from Corsair vendors on Gran Canaria.

Funny story: As promised, I donated the profit sharings to the Corsairs Starving Children's fund (2.5 mil credits), but Senor Karolis doubled that donation and sent it to me.

I must say I was overwhelmed. I did not expect this kind of hospitality. First Elder Sephardi marks up Food sale prices for his Birthday. Now a respected member of the Black Sails, ex-OPG pirate, is donating me money instead of the other way around. Next time I will be brining Luxury culunary supplies instead. Kind deeds should be repaid with equal measure!

I was recently asked to begin delivery of Food Rations for the citizens of the Planet Crete by the Captain of the Corsair ship Pr3dator.
