To be fair, at one point the implication was that we were supposed to rep GRN and such with a CSV. Be thankful that your ZOMG task (the BHG destroyers) can be solved with one of the caps floating around Minor most of the time... the same is not true of running into eight Basilisks with GB support. (There's a reason I tell everyone to never ever ever do missions against the Maquis, and it isn't because I lead the Maquis| ). On a related note, if I find out that I can't buy the flying shovel with a recruit ID when the server gets back, people will die. At least in that thing you can dodge snacs... something I can't say of the CSV.

That said, it doesn't make the Order's predicament any less ridiculous. Given that you can pvpwhore just as well with an Eagle as with a Nephthys (if not better- Terrance does damn well in an Eagle with Flashpoints), there's no valid reason not to allow all VHFs for the recruit ID if you allow any at all. And you do need to allow some, because some factions really have no way to rep by themselves otherwise.

This wouldn't be an issue if every faction had a /restart that gave you the ID. But that's a whole lot more work than just enabling all fighters with the recruit ID, which would -also- solve the problem without increasing the number of people buying gunboats the second they hit 50 million credits and not noticing that whole ID thing.
