Why do Battleships not have CDs?

But if you think about it, those are the nations that can effectively put military force together. Capital ships in all-out international warfare is a bit of a given. You want the biggest guns you've got all up at the front to make sure you win (in most cases) because if you lose the capital fight then the larger force of capitals can roll up into your systems with impunity.

The exceptions to this are bomber-focused factions like the GMG and other people who want to employ that sort of guerrilla strategy. Theoretically it's better to have bombers and capitals, but cap v cap is a fairly balanced matchup all things considered.

Battleships are not designed as interdictor craft, they arent meant to hunt down enemy targets, they're meant to defend allied assets or command other ships in a fleet.

As for BS for haveing CDs? No thanks. You realy want to be in a Liberty Dreadnought and see a RM BS charging to you and when he's near you , he starts CDing you like a kid.
