Guten Abend Officers of Bretonische Polizei,
on request of our Security Division, we would like to know what is legal status of Rheinland manufactured Military weapons and ships in the Kingdom of Bretonia. We can assure you Wraith and Bergelmir-class vessels won't be stationed on Rugen station; such ships would enter Kingdom's space only in a situations of extreme urgency, but our civilian ships, like Eagle or Scraper-class fighters indeed do have equipment like Hornviper or Firekiss guns.
Can such ships be stationed on Rugen station in accordance with Bretonian law? In the recent weeks amount of hessian raids on Rugen and Roth mining operation increased significantly, we need our the best products to protect our miners in Omega-3, and our convoys in all of Bretonia.
We also ask you Herren to dispatch additional units to patrol south-eastern part of the system, and protect Daumann's property. We wonder what caused increased hessian activity, maybe Polizei could investigate it?
Thank you for contacting us in this matter, you likely do not realise quite how many people appear to ignore the laws' existence before entering Bretonia.
Military equipment or ships are not illegal in Bretonia, it is only the presence of uninvited military pilots that conflicts with the foreign espionage laws:
Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law Wrote:Members of foreign intelligence agencies, militaries and police forces are also hereby prohibited from entering the Kingdom of Bretonia, save with explicit permission via government, treaty, BAF Admiralty Board, BPA High Commission or BIS Directorate.
Both Rheinland Military ships and weaponry can be used by Daumann escort pilots within the Kingdom of Bretonia. Their presence should be effective against any Corsair or other pirate raids on your convoys.
While our patrols generally stick to Cambridge and other core Bretonian space, our officers are on alert to respond to any reports of pirates in the area. Patrols are carried out by our Armed Forces, and from what I've seen they sweep the fields around Rugen and Douglas already.
As has always been the case, your convoys or Roth mining operations can request an escort or protection from any officer on duty at the time, either to replace or support your own security division.
I hope this has set your mind at ease, and we will continue to see your much-valued ore shipments into the future.
