Cruiser Tips

Hay guys. I pilot a Rogue Destroyer. I can get any Battleship and Carrier down to half hp before i get destroyed. I see that some people in cruisers can take no hull damage at all.

I keep my distance at 1.5k, i evade by using thruster on all the time and using turret stear evading. I dolphin and all of that stuff. But i want to know why i keep dieing. I can try and make a video with a fight i will be in. But has anyone else got any tips?

Try staying even farther away. Also, fly away from them and make them pursue you. Easy to dodge incoming fire that way.

Scylla isnt the best cruiser at all (some strange weapon positions). Well anyway your weapon setup is important. I roll with 3 cerbs and 1 Mortar good so far.

3 cerbs on the front and a mortar in the back? Because mine is the complete opposite.

well, just hope that he doesn't have missiles, other than that, just strafe and evade, in terms of weapons setup, 3 cerbs and 1 mortar will do the trick, weapons must be installed properly.

OK, but i find strafing a bit hard, along with turret steering and fireing. I use WASD and the arrow keys. WASD for steering and the arrow keys for Strafing. It is quite hard so i just dont both strafing. Has anyone got a good key setup for this? Something easy to use on a laptop
