cause freelancer would have been dull and short if it was all harmonious...
- humanity finally in harmony
- social and economically perfect, people have wealth and time to live long and prosper
- there are not conflicts anymore
- there are sufficient resources for everyone and everything
- medical care allows health and a long life for everyone alike
- nomads totally failed to spread distrust due to harmony between all human beings
and as a result:
- SP campaign even shorter than it was now.... ends before the intro sequence is finished. Trent is just a no name - cause the houses decided to unite quickly and dispatch the annoying little nomads. - peace ever since.
and discovery GC:
ID card for everyone:
- must be nice, helpful and gentle
- can use any ship
- must not mount weapons other than mining lasers
- must not provoke others or fight others
- can use transports up to 100.000 units
- can plant a tree
- can live a long and happy life
in short - its a wargame... so whats the point in letting humanities dream come true.

Well is still hope that eventually there will be two sides-humans and nomads, once nomads decide for all out attack(from numerous systems we never saw before) and overrun half of the Sirius survivors will put aside their differences and work together to fight them off (and it would not be boring, imagine nomads in every system, even NY, it would be very dynamic).
I saw you walking down the streat, your eyes, your lips, your nose, everything was so perfect. I started singing "who let the dogs out."
A single war between humans and aliens is hardly dynamic, in fact it's boring. Just look at the Halo series, it's so boring they had to introduce many alien species and an unnecessarily convoluted plot involving ancient civilisations just to keep an average kid interested.
What makes our Sirius dynamic is conflict between different factions, false alliances, espionage, wars with tides that can be easily changed and more.

Veygaar: contact me on Skype.
Of course, if you have to constantly run for your life that is different thing, just consider situation in omicrons, you cant be bored there no way, think how it would be if all Sirius was like that, total war.
