As for textures, ships use normal civilian ones as they were best solution for civilian based faction with limited resources....ships are not meant to look cool or beautiful, they are working vessel with rugged exterior and spartan interior...
I don't have milkshape installed on this computer to make high resolution image of textured ship, but textures actually follow ship lines.
During my work on this mod i never aspired to make cool ships with go faster stripes and such things, but rather ships that are RP feasible...
They look cool...there is a resemblance with the Vaksai starfighter from Star Wars, but I think it's ok...the design is great.

It will be good if they have cargo like 10k and costs like 500 mill, sturdy enough to fight on a gunboat or bombers.

Don't kid yourself. The battle transports will have around 4000-4200 cargo, similar to the Bretonian Shire.
There will never be any transports with more than 5000 cargo, except for the Barge. The Devs have made that explicitly clear. The aforementioned Battletransport will likely have at least 8 turrets, so that will be their strong defensive aspect.
