My opinion is that the open clashing with Brigands should be stopped. UC can't get even a small grip over the black market if they are hostile to the Brigands, and while LE are just one Brigand group, they also happen to represent the whole NPC faction.
All in all, I think something is broken in here. That UC diplomacy suit an army, rather than a sneaky corse family that wish to control a large part of the Gallic underworld. Remember, you are Mafia and black market is your business, actively hunting after Brigands is harmful for business and remember that Brigands are far stronger and numerous than the UC.
A lot of people that respond in this thread are missing the bigger picture - The UC need the Brigands otherwise it will eventually get kicked from the Gallic black market nearly completely.
These events happened while I wasn't even part of the faction and I'm held responsible for it, so I don't really care by now. They can do what they want. I personally haven't done anything which I regret, nor has my group. I'm just bemused by the situation.
What would we use gunboats for anyway when we have perfectly good bombers and transports at our disposal? Our only Brigand GB is a repping tool, nothing more.

Okay, that's it. Someone care to -fully- explain it? Since I thought that the war/hostility/whatever is still going (by the comments and forum RP I can see). Just, explain it!

No one really knows what's going on besides the +LE+ themselves, and they basically tell us that we should know without really explaining it when asked.
Ok, in that case on behalf of the LE, i shall spell it out for you. The labrise, before the current incident, have twice gone to open war footing against the brigands. Twice they have been hammered into submission, and have never regained their trust. Now you quite litterally tell us to *nommed by a grue* -Gheis in the comm channel and expect the brigands, who lore wise outnumber you by a rather large magnitude, to continue giving you technology and allow you to interfere in their buisiness? Your reply to the council as well, has pretty much meant aside from the grp when grn arent around, you have no more supply line. The entry into gallia is controlled atm by council and brigands, so there goes that, and the other way is to OC space, hostile to your group. Your basically biting the hand that feeds you, and are going to feel the consequences for it, since you refuse to rp your side of the conflict you started.
A group that wont take responsibility for their actions, past and present, is not suited to be an offical faction. It does not matter that you were not the leader the last two times the labrise have tried this. The facts to not magically go away with a new faction lead.
Even the UC have turned against you. You repeatedly act outside the corse lore. If i have to explain this any more simple i will facepalm, very, very hard.
